Am I the only one who adds little background stuff internally when thinking about moments and characters. Since your character has amnesia I enjoyed making up a backstory. For example I have the head canon that my DD2 character is a descendant of the character I made in DD1, and designed him to look like a combination of of my DD1 character and his beloved. I also like to add flair when thinking up interactions between characters; like how I had my pawn where the same cloak throughout the game so I like to imagine that my pawn grew emotionally attached to the cloak since her arisen gave it to her. I`m just curious if I'm the only one weird enough to add flavor to make going into a menu and pressing the equip button become a cute and touching moment. Feel free to share cute moments if you also do this and sorry for the longish read.

If it isn't them being in bum fuck nowhere in a fight or running into enemies and getting themselves killed, I'm so tired of my pawns trying to "guide" me
I don't need my pawns every 2 minutes running off and going "oh Arisen, the quest is this way"
"oh Arisen, allow me to guide you"
"Oh Arisen, I know your fighting 8 goblins in this cave, but the quest is this way, and I must tell you that over trying to help you"
"oh Arisen, ignore the cyclops that's currently about to stomp me into the fucking ground like dogshit, I needed to run ahead and be up his ass waving my hand, telling you that the direction we were ALREADY TRAVELING IN is the way towards the quest"
I don't need the hand holding... and it's much more of a burden then anything mildly annoying, much less helpful.
Anyone else sneak into Batthal earlier then you were supposed to? My experience: leveled up fast, low on everything, on death's doorstop, got caught by guards, sent to prison, had to walk all the way back to the gate twice, got jumped by everything, went through the area that was raining heavily, made it back to the border town through the ravine. Pawns were poisoned to death and I barely made it back to the inn. First playthrough. Edit: Snuck in through ox cart, got lost on the way to the Bakbattahl, took 3 in game days to find, bought some new gear, tried to get back to the original area through the gate, got arrested, broke out of prison, then went to the cave. Survived bandits, trolls, 3 fucking griffons, gollums, cyclops, a chimera. Somewhere made a wrong turn and found the fucking Medusa! What was y'alls?

Or some of these are unique and and cannot be purchased from merchants.
Hi 😉
I’m new to this game and have been loving it so far, especially the exploration elements.
Are you playing the main story primarily, or mainly wandering without a goal in mind until something interesting catches you? Just curious.

Could someone please gift me a finders token?
I put in the the work, I grabbed every Seekers Token from Melve to Vernworth (even the out of the way ones) and it wasn't any of them.
Apparently even missed obvious ones like the water fountain, not that one.
I'm honestly cooked.
Please help me. I've tried everything and I can't use DLSS Enabler.
I have a GTX 1060 6GB.
I've used DLSS Enabler in other games like Wukong and it worked perfectly.
I've followed your DLSS Enabler video and did everything the same.
The game opens. I'm using REFramework to run a few mods. Without DLSS Enabler, the game opens and all mods work.
In the settings, it says to activate DLSS, but when I save the settings, the game crashes.
When I open it again, the settings were reset.
Please help me. I've tried everything.
Now I tried that video of yours that changes the config.ini and the game crashes after the Re engine logo.
Even after uninstalling, resetting the settings within the game and installing the DLSS Enabler again, it always crashes after the screen with the Re engine logo.
The first time the game opened and options to turn on DLSS appeared, now it doesn't want to anymore, I don't know what to do, I think I've tried everything, in other games it's so simple
I'm taking advantage of the comment I made in a video, but I really need help because I've tried everything
I love this game. I see a lot of criticism on this sub, and some I do think are valid. But man do I love being able to change vocations.
I have been a fighter up until level 25, then I did a certain quest that requires a different vocation, so I change to archer and am loving the augments I have with fighter but as an archer. I can take hits and have crazy weight carrying abilities but am taking down huge enemies in a totally different way.
I played BG3, and I love the game, but damn there’s something satisfying about switching vocations and having to level up again. Having pawns that are higher level makes it just plain fun. I love how I had to adapt to a new vocation and change my gameplay completely.
Haven’t even gotten through the first 3 quests from Brant and I’m having a blast exploring. Truly enjoying this game.

Looking for help with a Finders Token on PS5. Can’t for the life of me remember where I collected my first Seekers Token. I would really appreciate anyone who can send me a duped one. Pawn ID 5EV7H4QI4DTZ
Is there some feature or menu I am missing regarding the "Change BGM and sounds DLC"?
Because I remember a few tracks that were unique to monsters such as cyclops or chimeras, neither of which play.
I was under the impression that it would be a similar system to the "Private Quarters" in monster hunter world (I am aware they are likely different devs for DD2) where you could select which track to play/replace.
But I feel ripped off, is it just me or is it terribly implimented?
Or did the game not reach the level of success required these days for additional content or DLC? Feels like since launch the game has just gone quiet and all the focus will be on Monster Hunter Wilds

Anyone mind dropping me this so I can get wild furie?
I used the ballista on the Drake in Melve but it landed on a house and didn’t count the kill (body disappeared no loot).

So I am at lvl 6 as a Mystic Spear hand right now and a lot of sources online talk about how great, broken and "easy mode" this Vocation is and won't stop signing it's praise but I just don't see it.
I came from around 30 hours as a Warrior and it was slow at first but I quickly got used to it and found it really fun and rewarding, but now playing as a Mystic Spear hand it just feels even more clunky and has no flow. The spin to win attack is very inconsistent to trigger as mashing light attack seems to work about 50% of the time and the other times it will just trigger when I'm manually timing my light attacks. And the downward teleport stab places you on any larger enemies ass every time you use it and is near useless.
And above all else you get interrupted and knocked down by ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING even basic goblin and hobgoblin attacks leave you stun locked until they finish their 3 or 4 hit combo. You spend the majority of any fight waiting for your turn to attack.
The only somewhat useful skill is the magic barrier that makes dragon fights quite easy and the magic thrust for traversal but other than that I find the vocation very weak and not fun in combat at all.
Am I just missing something here or...?
So I was doing the spellbound and sorcerers appraisal quests and I think i misread the tips online, I gave the little girl forgeries and the dude the real ones but the girl hasn't given me the master spell. It's been almost a week ingame and all I got was a scroll for finding herbs and then a small quest to take her to martyrs resting spot? Have I messed this up. Really don't want to have to restart an entire new game how do I find these spells so I can use them all the time, not just one time use books, which is all i can seem to find. My magical person has no spells. I don't understand
