Looking for a heavy duty vacuum for pet hair removal on carpet and hardwood floors
I have a two dogs and two cats, and the amount of pet hair I have is overwhelming to clean. I currently have a Dyson stick vacuum which I love, but it doesn’t cut it for this.
I am looking for a vacuum that can handle a lot of pet hair, a vacuum that a professional cleaner would use for this purpose. I am willing to pay top dollar for a good reliable and effective brand
Budget: no limit
Floor type: carpet and hardwood
Approx. square footage: 2200; half carpet half hardwood

I say you need a C3 Marin, the power head on it will work the carpet and the parquet twister is great on hard flooring. The Cat Dog model has the mid level power head and a charcoal filter with an added hand turbo brush (pros of it) but it’s the SEB228 power head. Marin has the SEB236 powerhead. If you want the charcoal filter to help with pet smells you can buy an Active AirClean filter and switch it out with the HEPA that the Marin comes with. The Marin also has an automatic suction feature so you don’t have to worry on changing the suction levels based on floor type.
A canister will be your friend with multi surfaces as well as stairs. I wouldn’t go with the C1 as it’s not a fully sealed system which isn’t good for those with allergies. The C1 is still a good model, just saying the C2 and C3 are fully sealed systems. I wouldnt recommend the C2 Hardfloor as you need an electrical powerhead for your pet hair and carpet.
I have the C3 Marin with two cats and it's amazing. The Dyson I had to empty multiple times while using because of how badly the cat hair clumped in it. I also recommend replacing the HEPA filter with the charcoal one.
How much carpet to hard flooring? How big is your space?
Miele or Sebo are going to be your top choices. Which specific one depends on the responses above.
Sebo E3 with added premium parquet hard floor tool. The newer models of E3 have a switch on the wand to turn the power head brush roller on or off. I like the sliding control for vac suction on the E3 wand.

I recently did an analysis where I aggregated reviews from reddit and ranked the models accordingly (choose the VacuumCleaners sub only filter). Might be helpful to have some numbers to make sense of all the individual comments you're getting.
Sebo is going to be more reliable and durable than Miele. Sorry Miele fans, I have both brands and have had them apart on my workbench. The Sebos have better build quality. Miele cheaps out on their cord reels, which are needlessly flimsy and easy to break, and their bag docks are treacherous. Mieles are also known for developing dead spots in their hoses. The rotating contacts in the swivel ends get dirty over time and develop dead spots. Miele isn't the only vacuum in the world with this problem but most other brands have a way to take the hose end apart and clean the contacts. Miele says buy a new hose. You can clean them at home but you void the warranty. Don't know why but Sebo hoses don't have these problems, at least the model I have.
I also think you will find the Sebo ET-1 cleans better than the Miele nozzles. I have all the different Miele nozzle configurations, SEB217, 226, 228 and 236. Only the SEB236 can clean pet hair off two of my area rugs that challenge power nozzles and uprights alike. The old fashioned SEB226 did good on one rug but the resistance even on the highest setting was enough to smoke a brand new belt : ) That same rug makes the belt on a Kirby squeal so it has good company. These rugs are tough! But the Sebo ET-1 never struggles and it cleans the pet hair in one pass.
