Medicine-related podcasts recommendations?

💩 Shitpost

Lately I was looking for some new medicine-related podcasts but I found it really difficult to find any that aren't just extremely dry and difficult to sit through. Either that, or they consists of interviews with doctors that were recorded over skype and the audio quality is unbearable. My favorite podcast is This Podcast Will Kill You which really well lays out biology, history and treatment of infectious diseases and does it in very light-hearted way, also the hosts enthusiasm makes it easier to get invested in the show. Can anyone suggest any podcast in that vein? It doesn't matter what it's about, as long as it's medicine- related

A few of my favorites:

  1. Bedside rounds: great podcast about medical history and the evolution of medicine kind of stuff.

  2. Curbsiders: internal medicine podcast that interviews guests about their specialty and is well done.

  3. Sawbones: Medical history with an FM physician and her comedian husband

  4. The Nocturnists: medical story telling about significant experiences of physicians
