POE STANDARD NON LEAGUE - worth playing?
Question
Hello, is it worth playing PoE outside the league(standard)? I have characters that I played the league with ago and I wonder if I should play them outside of the league. Anyone outside the league plays or does everyone play the league as it is? Is it possible to earn somehow on top outside the league, does anyone play there or are there voids?

Whether you "should" is up to you.
The main benefit of Standard, aside from the existence of legacy items, is that your progress is never reset. If you don't care about leagues because starting from scratch bothers you, Standard is where you go. It's a better place for those with very restricted play times where starting over every three months would be detrimental. The economy therein is very old, so you're not likely to find any part of the market wherein you could actually make money beyond farming raw currency.
Most players are the opposite: they don't care about Standard or much about their old characters therein. When they're done with the league, they don't go to Standard -- they go to a different game. If you like the starting over part, there's no "point" to Standard, so some people drop all their gear into the stash and immediately delete the character when they transfer.

=> Looks at all my standart caracters that are unplayable after 3 league because of changes and nerfs.

I am a mostly standard player
I love it there
I gave up leagues after Legion. I just became sick of feeling like a beta tester.
NERVER played any leagues. Can't agree with you more.
I skipped Scourge after 3 days and went back to an old character to refine my build in standard, was by far the most fun I've had in the game since Ritual. Having a ready to go character, not needing to go through the acts again for the nth time made it feel really fresh.
happy ssf standard player here
League after league, I became fall in love of ssf standard, I got limited playtime, I like SSF, I could take my time to progress, really like it !
Yeah there are plenty of people playing, I think heaps of people go back to standard after league gets boring but I could be wrong. Standard is perfectly fine, it is a little less populated but its there's still plenty of people playing and trading. I found standard to be much more fun than this league.
I tried switching to standard after I realized I play way too casually to get anywhere in the league but the fact that most of my characters there are gutted, nerfed to the ground or reworked to the point I lack motivation to get everything for them made me just quit PoE for the time being.
