Bazarr sync

I'm not sure it syncs individual lines, it just shifts all lines forward or backward depending on the best possible sync.

So if you have some subtitles insync and other not then the problem is that your subtitle file isn't correct for your file.

Subtitle sync is making me not want to watch any shows at all right now.

The Sync function in Bazarr says that it adjusted the time in the history, but it's still 5-10 seconds off mark. And even if I adjust it manually with offset, sooner or later it's out of sync again.

Why must this be so difficult?
I know this is hardly the fault of Bazarr, but most likely the release I found of the episode. But can I really be unlucky every time with the release I chose (or got chosen for me)?

When it gets worse the longer the video plays then it is a result of the frame rate being different than what the subs were made for. Make sure in your sync settings you don't have the "No Fix Framerate" setting enabled. Enabling that setting will tell Bazarr to not try and fix frame rate differences so make sure it is disabled. Also try enabling the "Gold-Section Search" setting in the sync settings.
