Depends on what you mean by clean up. Onyx is a good all-purpose tool:

I use Pearcleaner, finding orphaned files is a bit off but other than that awesome app to clean up left over files left by apps

Pearcleaner is the way to uninstall apps

The excellent GrandPerspective to graphically see where the big files are. Free and open source https://grandperspectiv.sourceforge.net/

The everything app, for work. Get everyone working in a single platform designed to manage any type of work.

“Maintenance,” for Mac. Doesn’t need to be run much I don’t think. Maybe several times a year. But if my MacBook is being “weird,” and a restart doesn’t fix it, “Maintenance” does (or placebo effect, lol). Also a good way to clear cookies from all browsers in one go.
