VM system requirements

Learning about networking and would like to set up a proxmox server on an old NUC I have. I'm thinking I'd like to set up an VM on it with maybe Ubuntu server running tailscale. If that's the only program running on the VM, what would be good for system requirements to use? I don't see any recommendations in the documentation anywhere.

    • Almost nothing beyond the Linux image.

    I have like 10GB storage for logs and 4GB RAM.

    I have an lxc container running for it, it needs ~2GB of space for the boot disk and ~512MB of ram.

    I have a pi1 and a pi zero also running it. almost zero resources needed.

    I just setup debian bullseye in prox ox for this today. 512mb ram 1 Socket 4 Cores.
