Frigate 0.14 slow at replay videos
I don't think I quite understand that?
In the add-on settings you can set what port frigate uses, it's typically 5000. Then in your browser type in the ip address of your home assistant machine and :5000 and you should have direct access to frigate.
For example if your HA machine has the port of 192.168.1.5 then use http://192.168.1.5:5000/ as the url to directly access frigate.
When I enter my ip into Home Assistant and change 8123 to 8555, frigate does not appear 🤔 I look in the addon under configuration, there I can see that the port is set to 8555. Isn't that correct, that's where I should look?

You want the port for the "Unauthenticated web interface" not the web RTC. Maybe it's hidden under "show disabled ports"?
