Use iPad as vertical airplay display
Help
Hi all, I was wondering if there is any way to use my iPad Pro 11" as a vertical display for my MBAir M1 with MacOS Ventura. At the moment when I use airplay/sidecar is only horizontal and I wanted it to be vertical. Tried putting the iPad physically vertical but nope and in system preferences there's no option for rotation on airplay monitors.
Wondering if any one of you pulled this out!
thanks in advance

A coworker uses Duet for that purpose. Pretty sure that app supports vertical orientation on iPads, as that is how his iPad was always positioned.

I think it's $25-ish /yr.
I have duet, it was my "backup"
I have a plain old 8th gen iPad. It works just fine in portrait with Sidecar and Monterey. I only wish there was room to use it in landscape.
Wait what? I don't want ti make mistakes, Sidecar Is the thing that let you use your iPad as second monitor or that other thing that let you control ipadOS with the mouse and keyboard of the mac? Because the second thing I can do It fine, it's the First that I can't do in portrait mode, how do you do that?
