Is genp safe ?

Question

I know it’s open source but I don’t know enough about coding to know if there’s anything suspicious 😓

It is the safest option for adobe products

Okay, thank you, I’ll keep an eye out for any other comments but thanks a lot :)<3

Why is the latest GenP so much "dirtier" than old builds?

It gets 26 hits on VirusTotal and a threat score of 66 on Hybrid Analysis, while it was completely clean on 3.3.1.1 previously. Why is that so? None of the guides explain what's the change that led to a bump in false positives?

I’m wondering too. I used to use gen p back in the day but they closed down the subreddit and had no access to the software… now they are back up and are saying they’re open software but at the same time I can’t help but wonder if this I would be making a huge mistake by using it again if it’s been compromised

Somehow no one there can answer my question regarding a problem that it won't download properly either so I'm a bit worried too now
