LG C4 Wifi 6E Issues

So I picked up my 48' in C4 last week. Even after I update the software to the latest version there is not an option to connect to my 6E band. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

hardwire that OLED like you should

The LG C4 has a cheapo FE NIC (only rated for 100 Mbps). Most peoples wifi networks are droves faster.

That's probably because the C4 doesn't have Wifi 6e. It's only Wifi 5.

Costco models have 6e

I was initially experiencing the same issue. According to LGs specs, the OLED55C4AUA and other C4 AUA models sold at Costco and Sam’s support WiFi 6E. After connecting to the proper SSID the Wifi 6E worked perfectly and connected to the 6GHz channel.

Do you know if you are using WPA3 Transition Mode or straight WPA3 for your security? I am able to get my OLED65C4AUA connected but only on 5GHz for some reason. I have a few other 6E capable devices on my network which all connect over 6GHz to the same SSID, but for some reason the OLED65C4AUA only connects at 5GHz... I suspect it may be my use of WP3 Transition Mode on my SSID configuration.
