Service menu remote still work on LG’s C4 OLED’s?

Just purchased the 42” version and I’m finding the auto-dimming damn aggressive and wondering if there is a solution? From Google I can’t find anything for the C4’s, so wanting to confirm whether LG have locked users out with the C4 (something I’ve read), or whether the service remote is still worth getting? 🙂

You can set the settings using Color Control program. Not sure if it supports the newer TVs, but it's worth a try.

I thought I had read that they stopped access to the menu during the C3’s release but also had fixed the overly aggressive dimming?

I just got my G4 so I’d like to know as well. I turned both those options off on my G1 and would do it again if I can

I know the C3 was definitely accessible using ColorControl. I'm getting my G4 in a couple of days, according to the developer the 2024 models have been added for support, so I'll give it a try and let you know.

On my G4, the service remote that I purchased (MKJ39170828) does NOT allow many changes like turning off TPC and GSR as far as I can tell. And I notice it does not have an EZAdjust button like some YT videos have said will access that menu. So I'm searching for a new model service remote unless someone knows a workaround.

Did you find one. I just got the service remote but dunno what button to press. I want to switch off TPC.
