u/The_frozen_one FIRST OF ALL: thank you soooo much for this. I've been looking for a replacement to cider tv for years and now that i have a M1 mac using ventura, i finally figured out how to use your app. The only way i was able to get it to work (besides creating that file and putting in folder) is opening the actual MacOS terminal file in order to launch the app properly each time i open the app...but then it works swimmingly! Thank you again

Just wanted to add my thanks for the existence of this app. I'm used to working on an iPad Pro, but have recently been using a MacBook. And the lack of the Remote in Control Centre on macOS was very frustrating. This app does the job very nicely !

Amazing! I really needed this. Great code, UI, and keyboard mapping, man. Starred on GitHub.

I use this from time to time.

If you have the Home app on your MacBook, you should just be able to click on the Apple TV and do as what you have requested.

Thanks. I wasn't aware of the Home app on my macbook .

I do see the Apple TV listed but there is nothing showing on the right where, I assume, I would be seeing the playback controls.

Besides, on my Apple TV I still have a red warning telling me that I haven't finished setting up Home. I have tried countless times with my iPhone but ATV is never detected.

Any hints to setup Home from my iPhone? Thanks

I was able to finally make Home see my ATVs but there are no controls in Home macOS app. It just seems to be an app to handle different automation scenes (i.e. pause if you leave home, etc). I'm a missing something?

Not sure if someone already mentioned this but.. isn't it odd that this is a native widget in iOS? Swiping down top right reveals the control panel, which then reveals the widget (accessible via settings). If it hasn't been thought of, your welcome apple. invoice
