Logitech Media Server is now known as Lyrion?
Did I miss the announcement? I use this on a regular basis and at first glance it looks like nothing more then a name change. I'm just curious if anyone caught anything I may have missed.

It’s now no longer owned and maintained by Logitech. Fully handed over to community hence renamed, and also lots of good development going on.

Funny that on the Wikipedia page there is no "this project was renamed", just a bunch of replaced text strings from [Logitech] to [Lyrion (formerly Logitech Media Server)].
I got lyrion up and running. But is there any way to access files on a network (samba) shared drive?
It looks like the server will only access LOCAL (as in "C:") files.
It won't accept mapped drives :(

How does a mouse company have a media server? Who do they think they are, RealPlayer?

I mean they bought a company from Slim, it was actually really good in its hey day. I still have squeezebox players and use them daily.
agreed though it is weird that a hardware company like that would have gotten into media but alas here we are 24 years later and people are still using hardware you cant even find anymore outside of second hand and still updating the software, kinda shows how well things used to be made.
