I bought my MacBook Pro - M3 Pro, 18GB RAM / 512GB HD a couple of weeks ago. Once, the M4 was released, I immediately picked one up as well (MacBook Pro - M4 Pro, 24GB RAM / 512GB HD). As I was working with them side by side, I noticed that the display (brightness) on the M3 appeared to be a little more superior or visually more appealing to my eyes than the M4. I was wondering how this might be possible? I did a side by side comparison to both settings on all fronts (display, True Tone, nightshift, etc.) and still noticed that the M3 appeared to look better with respect to how the whites / brightness was displaying. I thought to myself, maybe the M4 might have been defective, so I went to the Apple Store yesterday and bought another M4 (same specs) and I had 3 of them in my possession at the same time (for now). I did side by side comparisons and it still appears that the M3 display (to my at least) looks sharper than the M4's.

As mentioned above, all the settings on all 3 machines are identical to each other (brightnesses are maxed as well). The only difference between the machines (in terms of settings and OS) is that the M3 is running Sequoia 15.1 Build (24B83) which is the most release for the M3 and the M4's are running Sequoia 15.1 Build (24B2083) which is the most recent release for the M4's.

Am I missing something here? Is something flawed?

M3 is in the middle of both photos. There are no angle issues with the M3 being in the centre of both photos. I just didn't want to upload multiple photos that looked the same.
