Explorer 300 Plus and pass-through solar

I just got an Explorer 300 Plus, my first "power station" purchase.

One thing that I am dissastissfied with is that to charge it solar, you are using the USB-C port as "input", that is the only port with 100W output, so it's not available for pass-through output while solar charging.

There are two other USB DC ports with 15W output would be available. As well as the AC output and car socket output. But I want more than 15W DC output pass-through.

There's nothing I'm missing, this is how it is, right? Is this as annoying as I think, or is pass-through power when charging from Solar a bad idea or something?

I can't tell if the 600 Plus would have the same limitation, or if it uses a different input port for solar charging instead of tying up the high-power USB-C? Any advice?

Jackery 300 plus is the only unit with that limitation .. the 600 plus has the 8mm port for solar.

Thanks. I am annoyed with myself/jackery marketing for not realizing this limitation and the implications!

600 plus is, looks like, $140 more than 300 plus. Plus 600 plus has UPS functionality? Yeah, I should have gotten a 600 plus from the start, doh!

You have been fooled by a change in the ports like I was. I watched YouTube HoboTech review of the 300 Explorer plus and he talked about the 2 x 100W USB-C ports. He shows he can also pull 100w out of each port. WELL, when my Jackery 300 Exp plus arrived, there is a 100W in/out for solar panel and the other USB-C is now 15W MAX.

Look on the Jackery Canada site, it shows 2 x 100W ports, so I guess there was a change in their product in which they forgot to tell anyone??? AMAZON CANADA shows both version if their photos.

Hm, I wonder if I could get a return based on this, although it may be too late for me.
