I love this god damn phone.

Love it.

I won't spoil anything as far as experience for you.

Use it for a month and come back to your thread OP.

Welcome home. 😀

I've had mine since launch, very happy overall.

I don't stress phones very hard, don't play games, mostly consume media or read pdfs. For everything I do, performance is excellent. I listen to music or podcasts through bluetooth for 10 hrs a day at work and I get 2 days out of a charge.

This one I have now is my second one, the first one I had was a dud out of the box, inner screen died in less than a day. But I took it back, had it replaced with a new one, and zero issues with this one.

I had an OtterBox case on at first, with no hinge protection. I was unhappy with the sharpness of the edges of the case at the hinge side, and it didn't fit with an external screen protector. So I bought a cheaper case with hinge protection and integrated screen protector. It's much more comfortable to hold.

I went from a pixel 7 pro to this, no regrets. It helps that I got it for like half price at launch.

Had mine since launch with the Google case and durability has been just fine. I work in construction and have a couple young kids that grab it sometimes so I was initially worried about it but no complaints. Only time I'm cautious with it is when I go to the beach. Performance has been good. Can't say it blew me away or anything, my prior phone was only a couple years old, but it's handled everything I've thrown at it without issue. I wish more apps better supported the form factor but it's a minor gripe about an otherwise solid phone.

Love mine. 2 months in. Have had every flagship phone and this one is my favorite, slightly better than my Fold 6 for me but not by much. Way better than all the iPhone's I've owned.

Returned mine as I just didn't trust myself not to break it.

Thought it was a good phone but the screen is the wrong shape for YouTube and other videos so the screen ended up at a similar size as the pro max.

So I just ended up with the pro max for battery life and camera etc

I came from iPhone 16 Pro Max and this is my honest review.

Pro:

Cons:

I'm still using 16PM as my daily driver but I keep coming back to P9PF despite all the weaknesses.

I just got the 256 version on Friday so can't say much yet. I will say only charging to 80% is tight on battery life for me. Flipping back to 100 and adaptive charge for time being.

I've had it for about 3 months. I have a mous case that's protecting the back and a screen protector protecting the front.

I love the phone. The hinge is unprotected but the phone is quite durable. It's fallen from my pocket (while sitting in a chair) but haven't had any issues.

The battery life is good. I charge it to 80% and top up when it gets to 20%. It depends on how much and for what I use it for.

I play call of duty on the phone, watch videos and read articles.

It's a great phone. I had to switch my phone. My old iPhone xs max was broken.

So far so good. Had it now for 4 days.

I watch a lot of media during lunch, so its a joy having a bigger screen.

Having the inner screen to read websites/instructions are waaayyyy better for my eyesight.

The camera pics are a meh compared to my P8Pro and the fact i cant have a separate layout in the inner screen is a disappointment.

Used the P9P Fold for navigation when i visit sites + streaming music/podcast throughout the day and i managed to get almost 10 hr Screen on time (similar to my old P8Pro).

Have an amazon case right now which makes it thicker than it usually is. Still on a lookout for a better case that is thinner, magsafe compatible and built in stand.

I like it, it's my first fold. I had a pixel 8 pro before. I also used to own the pixel 3a > 4a > 6a > 7. I just always get insane trade in deals and sales on the Google website.

Folds will never be as durable as a slab phone. My front screen is pretty scratched up even though it mostly stays in my pocket.

My inner screen has held up fine, a few little nicks that aren't too noticeable.

The folding screen is nice, it feels like I have a tablet in my pocket.
