Acces frigate from outside my own wifi? 🤔
I have made a button where I can access the frigate. It works fine when I'm at home on my own network, but when I'm out of the house and running on my telecommunications company's network, I can't access frigate by pressing the button. I use nabu casa. How do I make it so that I can access addonnet frigate from my dashboard?

You need to VPN into your home network to do that. Home Assistant has a WireGuard add-on to do this.

Oh. I have wireguard addon inside home assistant. I think maybe that's the way I access frigate addon on? I don't have problems with e.g. accessing zigbee2mqtt from outside my own network.
I use Cloudflare Tunnel. Check it out and see how easy it is. All you need is a domain which you can buy in namecheap for 1€/$ a year.
Does it help that I can access frigate outside of home wifi?
If you don't run the Frigate add-on (e.g., it's on a different machine than HA) then lookup the Frigate Proxy add-on. It lets you access Frigate from HA as if it was on the same machine.
Frigate runs as an addon directly in Home Assistant 🙂
Use the frigate add-on from hacs, works from the interwebs that way
I use frigate addon from hacs, that's why I can't understand I can't access it outside of my wifi 🤔
scrypted nvr is miles easier
I add this card to my dashboard and it lets me access streams, recordings, etc from within HA. https://github.com/dermotduffy/frigate-hass-card
