Enterprise Networking Design, Support, and Discussion. Enterprise Networking -- Routers, switches, wireless, and firewalls. Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet, and more are welcome.
I've been getting into learning how to setup VLANS, and almost every tutorial I've come across, the VLAN tags are all in increments of 10.
For example:
VLAN10
VLAN20
VLAN30
VLAN40
Why not just have:
VLAN1
VLAN2
VLAN3
VLAN4
VLAN13
VLAN56
etc...
Is it just a standard? Just Curious.
