Looking for a self hosted bookmarks manager?
I'm looking for a self hosted (or even just a desktop app) that can import my bookmarks from Chrome and allow me to sort them into folders and organise them.
Bonus points: The ability to export back into Chrome or another browser.

There is an app called floccus that allows you to sync your bookmarks and folders from any browser or mobile device. You can sync those bookmarks using gdrive, WebDAV, or Nextcloud-Bookmarks. I would recommend trying it out and if you like it, you can self-host a WebDAV service or Nextcloud.
I use Nextcloud Bookmarks with Floccus
Linkding
Nextcloud + bookmarks
App for firefox and chrome based browsers, and android app
I use the Android app and Firefox plugin called Floccus to sync with NextCloud. I do not know if there are other similar tools.
I use shiori.
Shaarli and Shiori are my favorites, both have an easy setup and have browser integration.
The first is a php app, the second a go binary
I personally use xbrowsersync. Don't need an account and no hassle. I can recover and import how ever much I want. Don't need a server. Works with all browsers' normal bookmark function. I honestly just install the extension and import all my bookmarks, then leave it unpinned in my extension drawer.
Oh! You need your bookmarks on your phone? No problem! Just download their app and import.
I wish the Firefox android bookmark manager wasn't so garbage. I've got 20 years of bookmarks, categorised in folders, but it just shows a massive list of expanded folders.
I set up Linkding a few days ago and I’m really liking it.
