Razer peripherals not working with USB hub

Question

Idk I’ve had zero problems with the same keyboard on Mac OS and windows os, no problems, even lost my Bluetooth adapter for the mouse i have (razor brand) and it still connects so idk why ppl have problems. I can say the mouse wouldn’t connect until i looked up “how to connect with no Bluetooth adapter” bc of the binds on the mouse

Have you tried a powered USB hub that needs to be wall plugged to give it power?

Hey guys!, i am Roger, forgive me for my English because I'm using Google Translate, but I managed to solve this problem, what happens is that the bandwidth of a 3.0 hub is 5gbps and Razer devices use a lot of bandwidth, the solution is to buy a 3.2 Gen2 hub with 10gbps of bandwidth.

I recommend this hub from Orico, it's what I'm using at the moment.

Remembering that your computer's USB also needs to be 3.2 Gen2.

The hub is not the problem, I have my mic hooked up just fine

That doesn't mean it's not the problem, some hubs work better or worse with certain devices.

Razer devices work mostly fine with hubs in my experience, but will randomly glitch out. And will have issues with some hubs more than with some other hubs.

I didn't pay them with mostly fine dollars, why do they randomly glitch out when ever so often? Everything else hooked up works fine, but noo here comes razer they're too good for a usb hub.

"Oh I'm sorry cant hop on rn, my mouse and keyboard just decided they don't wanna work today, try me tomorrow maybe they'll work then!" see how ridiculous that is?

I have the same issue. The keyboard and mouse periodically stopped working when using a powered hub. Razer tech support basically told me they recommend connecting directly to the pc or laptop. I wanted to stop the constant disconnections, so I bought the head set stand, which has two usb inputs. But I have a lot of razer peripherals.I was thinking about buying another headset stand and taking it apart and 3d printing a case for it. There is one thing that you can try if you have a laptop, buy the razer dock, it may work for you.
