Dr. Dabber Switch 2 Review
I've been lucky enough to be a beta tester of the Dr. Dabber Switch 2, and after around 200 sessions, here's my take:

General Impressions:

Induction Heating & Infrared Tech: Super fast, even heating with precise temp control. A step above most eRigs in the market.

Clean airpath: Titanium chamber with a quartz bowl insert, glazed alumina ceramic airpath, no plastics, PEEK, and other bs.

Smartphone App: Full control of temp settings, session time, and real-time temp reading of the bowl.
What Was Better Than Expected:

Real-time Temp Control: The Switch maintains the target temp no matter how hard you draw. It doesn't fluctuate at all.

Heating Profiles: The app's "Descent," "Ascent," and "Steady" profiles are a game-changer for simulating traditional rigs.

Quartz Bowl: Delivers cleaner, more responsive hits than ceramic bowls, heats up faster, and doesn't hold onto residue. Doesn't get "chazzed" etc. The only reason to buy another one is if you drop it.

Hot Knife: Comes included, which is awesome since most rigs make you buy it separately.

Maintenance: You only need to replace the quartz cup, making it cheaper to maintain than the Peak Pro.
What Could Have Been Better:

Portability: It's larger and heavier than competitors like the Peak Pro – definitely more of a tabletop device.

App Refinement: The app has impressive features but could be more polished compared to the Peak Pro's more mature app.

Price: At $420, it's on the high end (though you can knock it down to $378 with code VG10 from vape-smart or directly from Dr. Dabber).
Overall, it's one of the best eRigs out there if you're serious about your concentrates. It's the closest experience to a real banger. The only competition is Peak Pro, and while it's hard to determine who's "the best," it's nice to see someone giving Puffco some real competition.

Picked up the Switch2 yesterday. I own the OG Switch,EVO, and XS by Dr Dabber. I also have the Puffco Peak Pro 3DXL and Carta2 with Max chamber.
I can say out the box this Switch2 is sweet. If your into flavor, vapor quality and Sesh on good Rosin. This is the one. If you’re more into smaller sizes,portability etc this might not be for you.

curious what you think of the switch 2 flavour on quartz and sapphire vs 3dxl and Max chambers.
Pretty interesting product, but it seems to be more of a niche item imo. Not as portable as any puffco, and if I wanted a desktop rig, I'll just drop a banger in my ball vape coil. I personally feel like large devices like this with batteries are limited to around the house, and id rather a plug in model at that rate
I disagree about the battery part. Having no plug (even on a larger unit) means that you go out to the back yard, or around the house, or even just not having another permanent cord and plugging this is at night makes a big difference.
It’s only slightly larger than the peak, and a bit more rugged with protected glass. I would say the hit quality is significantly better
Can anyone compare the Switch2 with the Stundenglass Modul?
You don’t think it’s portable?? I take it everywhere with me, fits perfectly in my truck door cup holder. And it doesn’t weigh much at all… In fact I like the weight, same with everyone who has smoked it, provides a nice stable base. But we’re not all created equally, I get it. Overall one of my favorite pieces, already sold my Peak Pro a week after this arrived. And that sapphire bowl makes it taste phenomenal.
I just got my switch2. Why have I never made this purchase or switch to dr dabber before. After countless other bongs and bowl configurations. Finnaly got me one. And this thing in my opinion destroys every I mean every other system I've tried or wasted money on. Same material. Enail on fancy rig to this. Well my all glass rigs and accessories are shoved in a box hopefully never to be seen again. Same material delta9 oil in the switch2. The stone is so different. Way stronger. Way better tasting. Smoken less material but getting more stoned. Hmmmmm Huge fan of the dr dabber and switch2 now
No need to replace the quartz . I chazzed mine immediately of course , but used bar keepers friend to bring it back to new…
how does it not get chazzed? what happens to the extract? is that really true?
