If your on linux, check the download location permissions. Usually thats 99% of the problem.

If this is a seedbox do in SSH "sudo chmod 777 -R /yourdownloaddirectoryhere"

I had the same problem half way through downloading a bunch of files. I use Unraid and my torrents download to a 500gb cache drive before later being moved to the larger drives. Bottom line I ran out of space on the download folder.

For what it's worth to anyone else experiencing this... I reciently updated qbit and in doing so, I changed the UID and GID values with the new stack - this caused the Errored status for all new or existing torrents attemtping to download. Changing them back to the original values corrected the issue. Good luck.

775 will do just fine and better security.
