PSA: You can portal out of and then return to Trials
Edit: THIS DOES NOT WORK IF YOU TELEPORT OUT OF THE TREASURE ROOM OR AFTER KILLING THE FINAL BOSS. ONLY DO THIS AFTER COMPLETING A REGULAR ROOM.
I've seen tons of people still confused about this on reddit and Twitch.
Progress is saved after each room so you can portal out of trials and then return. For whatever reason, you can't take the portal straight back but have to use the waypoint and teleport back to the trial. When you enter, it will place you in the same room you were in when you portaled out.
I've done it myself multiple times in Sehkemas.
Edit: This apparently does not work after you complete the trial so don't teleport out of the treasure room!
Can confirm, as of 12/16/24, you can teleport to town -> sell your stuff -> use waypoint to travel back to trials -> from main room interact with the altar -> map comes up and click "Enter" to go back to where you left off.

Nevermind, you interact with the altar and it's got your progress saved. Sweet!
with Sehkemas you can also do your own solo run, leave just before boss, and save it to get your friends their 3rd ascendancy, confirmed with my friend circle (or sell em for currency ? :p)
I completed the run, got to the treasure room but my inventory was full so I teleported to town and I couldn't return, the run was considered completed and I lost all my rewards. I hope they address this.

If you portal out of the trial, you can only reaccess it by going to the way point -> travel to the trial -> click on the altar -> select the button that says 'Enter' It will restart whatever room you were in, but it won't reset the whole trial. I just did this not twenty minutes ago, so it still works.
Weird, just yesterday someone complained in global chat that he portaled out and couldn‘t return to the trial.
Idk what im doing wrong, but i cant enter through the waypoint nor through the desert map. just sends me back to the beginning and wants me to spend another one of these tokens

Same bug to me, lost 30 mins and coming back to d4 until they fix the core mechanic
Same here, inventory was full so i went back. Portal is broke so it won’t let you back in
I beat trial, used portal to sell and then pick up what boss dropped. It made me restart the whole fucking thing even thought I beat it. This game fucking sucks.
This is true but keep in mind it will respawn the room with some of the enemies and any dropped loot will be gone. I made the mistake of portalling to town to sell so I could pick up a legendary (or whatever it is in this game) and when I couldn't portal back got back with the waypoint but the loot drop was gone.
So, what is the final say on this?
Please read this slowly:
IF I killed the final boss, and I teleported out of the treasure room, currently I cant get back via my portal. This I understand.
IF I go back via the waypoint. it takes me back to the beginning and I MUST enter a new djinn to enter. I don't have another djinn to use at this moment.
SO...
Once I put this Djinn in the slot on the altar, will it put me back at the end of my opened trial? Or will I need to just start over and do it again?
I did the big mistake my first time I played and beat it the second time I tried I got fucked on the timed area and lost I was so upset as inhad to play it 3 times to finish it when I beat it outright the first time. Oh well as is tradition
