Supporter Pack contents value vs in-game purchases
Couldn't find a post that specifically addressed this question.
If I buy the Lord of Ogham or King of the Faridun Supporter Pack, is that going to give me better value than if I simply added the dollarydoo's to my account later.
Basically is:
The King of the Faridun Supporter Pack contains Early Access to Path of Exile 2, two Armour Sets, two Back Attachments, a Level-up Effect, a Hideout, three Weapon Skins, three Pets, two Hideout Decorations, a Portal Effect, two Portrait Frames, two Forum Titles, two Badges, and 1000 Points.
Worth more than the $100 difference from the base EA access?
ALSO: Do I get to pick the pet, portal, skins etc?
ALSO ALSO:
If I have already bought the base EA, can I just pay the extra? Steam seems to want me to but a second EA key.
Note, I might be really nice and donate the extra key to a helpful Exiler (or whatever you call yourselves!)
You can buy 1000 points for a 100$, or buy a pack to get 1000 points + everything else for a 100$.
Basically buying a pack you don't already own is always better value than the raw point buy.
As for upgrading steam purchases i don't know, maybe from the official site if you connect via steam.
For every pack you purchase you also get its price in, in game-currency so the packs are way more than worth their price. So if you’re gonna buy 100 in game currency the pack is the better choice for the extra goodies.
You can always buy the base support pack, and then upgrade later for the same cost. It’s all bonus MTX but you get the same amount of premium coins as if you were to buy them without the pack, just without the goodies on top.
Hello. If you buy a supporter pack you will get it's value in point on top of what content it's given you. So it's always better to buy points through a supporter pack (the only exception if you need a small specific amount of points).
For your second question: yes. If you bought a small 30$ pack for a EA key then you can upgrade it with a difference to the higher one.
Don't worry, have to use the POE 2 shop, not Steam!
No, they are shown in the video for the packs, they're all thematic
To further this. You get whatever is in that tier pack + everything in the cheaper packs.
Yes, it is worth more than the value of buying the points separately. The currency you get from the packs is the same as what you would get if you bought the currency on its own. The cosmetic items are essentially free additions.
As for picking the cosmetics, you get all of the cosmetics from the pack you buy, plus all of the ones that are in the packs below it. Once you own them you can choose which ones to equip, and change whenever you want. Of course, you can buy additional cosmetics with the points you get from the packs. Though, you will want to save some for the various stash tabs you might want.
I bought the $100 one. That hideout is insane
Can you use it in PoE1 yet? Any details you want to share?
