Took my internal hdd from old laptop (win 10) and started using it as external hard drive on new laptop (win 11) for additional storage.

I was playing my game which was installed on this hard drive for 1 week by connecting it to my new laptop and using it as an external hard drive

Suddenly 3 partitions on this drive became inaccessible. As you can see partition H: is still showing and accessible.

The E drive in the picture is where windows 10 was installed and the F & G partitions have my data

This hard disk being old does makes clicking sound sometimes but used to work perfectly fine with no issues until now.

(1) Is it fixable? can the bad sectors be fixed or whatever the issue is happening, can it be fixed?
If yes then how.

(2) should I just try to recover my files and move on to a new backup drive?
If yes then what's the best way to do that.

(3) For this purpose should I buy an external ssd or expand my laptop's internal storage to 1TB ssd ?
