Reinstalling Windows 11 on new 2TB hard drive .. hangs.
Hi All , I purchased the legion go when I was in France so it came with the French image. I tried to change the language but not all of it was changed . I then purchased a 2TB drive stuck it in the legion go , went to the Lenovo website downloaded the image and started the reinstall process. Problem is it reaches around 90% and hangs … or I think it’s hanging … said it could take a few hours .. is this normal?
Any hints or tips would be appreciated
Did you remove the USB stick when prompted?

Mine has been going on for 5 hours .. hanging for the 5th time :(
I had trouble with Lenovo software builds, hanging/failing etc. Try downloading windows installer direct from Microsoft. Worked for me, obviously you'd have to download extra drivers etc afterwards, but that's not too hard.
I had to download a normal windows installer and bypass internet connection settings on install.
Make sure your SSD is actually being detected in the BIOS, I had this happen and it actually never tells you/verifies there is a drive to install onto, mine was just not plugged in far enough apparently.
Try it again. The 2tb Drive or your usb media may be bad.
