2.5gig switches still in the 100+ range 2+ years later.. ??
Just trying to find a simple 4 port 2.5gig switch from a well known company. Not sure I trust any of the $75 to $100 china ones. But those are even expensive. 2+ years ago they were about $130.. I bought one. Why are they STILL that same price 2+ years later? Yet I can get a 5 port 1gig for like $15 on a good day.

If I could find them. Every time I try to go buy them from the ubiquity website I get told they're out of stock even though I can add them to cart. I can't get them locally either, because Micro Center doesn't stock them.
You just have to find a reseller.
I just bought a unifi 24 xg switch (24 multi/10g ports) for a little more than a grand like a week ago from double radius, who is an authorized ubiquiti reseller. From start to finish, finding and ordering the switch took probably 20 minutes, including creating an account.
This is gonna show you how much I know, but…
They have a 24 port multigig switch? Like 1/10g or is it 1/2.5/5/10g? I went to their site but to be honest I didn’t dwell much on it. I was thinking of Ubiquity, but I need ip/MAC vlan functions and not just port based. And would like multi gig because not all my devices are the same speed. Some are 1g. Some are 2.5 gig. Some I can simply upgrade to 10g and others I can’t. So I want a reliable managed switch to control the whole home and at least 24 ports. I’m from the old 10/100/1000 copper era of networking so these new fangled network protocols are new to me dag nammit! (Yes purposefully sounding like an old fart because I’m becoming an old fart).
Here it is: https://store.ui.com/us/en/products/usw-enterprisexg-24
Ports 1-24 are 1/2.5/5/10g. I believe 25-26 are 1/10/25g.
I'm not sure about the other features you mentioned, but I hope that helps! I also needed a switch that had at least 8 10g ports and only a couple 2.5g ports, but I struggled finding any with both without spending a lot (as linked here).
I just got one from newegg
