The factions in WARFRAME are the civilizations and groups fighting for supremacy in the solar system; their conflict is the backdrop of the game's missions. Because nothing in the game indicates an alien origin of any faction, it is assumed that they all are human, trans-human, or created by humans.

Syndicates are groups of interest operating throughout the Origin System separate from the Corpus, Grineer, and the Tenno. These groups have their own ideologies and goals regarding the fate of the system, with some inevitably in disagreement with at least one other syndicate, though alliances between said syndicates exist.
Unaffiliated or Neutral lifeforms are those that do not side with any of the major factions, including wild animals.

Stalker isn't related to the Corpus much at all; the most we know is that he was an Orokin guard who was there to witness the Tenno betrayal of the Orokin and has been holding a grudge ever since.

Stalker is from the "stalker" faction and after second dream he is from the "stalker" and "sentients" faction.

As much fun as it is killing Grineer, Corpus, Infested, Sentients and Corrupted, I wouldn't mind taking on an alien race in the future. Something that is modular like the comba units but doesn't block your abilities or annoying stuff like that. Think WH40k Tyranids (but not the swarm size forces, think a group of big uns supporting even bigger big uns) with say... different head types that give effects such breathing fire or a snake like head, arms types that could pulverize, stab, slice, legs that could allow it sprint/scuttle really fast, slither along the ground, climb along walls etc etc. It wouldn't be infested or sentient, it would be fully alien.
Maybe I should put an hour or two to expand on this idea and put it on the official forums.
I honestly think that they should expand more on the Sentients because from what I've seen so far in the game (I recently completed The War Within and Octavia's Anthem) I think the Sentients are extraterrastrials. *cringes at bad spelling*

you missed the part where it was stated numerous times the sentients were an orokin creation. they were sent to Tau to terraform it, but got prissy over there and decided to return to kill off the orokin

The sentients were originally orokin agricultral unit that were working to harvest resources but when they realised that they would kill tau as well as the origin system they rebelled and devoted themselves to killing off all orokin lifeforms, excluding themselves

Yeah the Synthesis entry. Read the Corrupted Ancient Healer entry. They are just decendents of an Orokin healer class which were cloned then infested. After that they just grew bigger and more non human like. If you look closly you can see several human features such as a broken skull.
