What's the best 42/43" monitor to run 4k@120Hz or 4k@144 Hz?

Hey

I've seen a lot of comments about 4K monitors but not many talking about running 4k@120Hz or 4k@144Hz. So here's my question: what's the best monitor possible, not matter the price, and why this monitor in particular? Also what could be the best value/price choice?

I've seen some, but I can't evaluate the difference between them as I'm not a expert:
- Iiyama G4380UHSU-B1

- Samsung Odyssey G7 S43CG700NU

- Gigabyte Aorus FV43U VRR

- Asus ROG Swift PG42UQ

- ASUS XG43UQ

- LG OLED42C3 (only 100Hz?)

What about these? Do you have a better suggestion?

Thanks

I rarely see the Sony x85k recommended, but I feel it ticks every box

Just so you know, the x85K doesn't do true 4K 120 so that one box is partially checked. People still seem quite happy with it though. See this link and scroll down a bit.

The Asus and Gigabyte are great, I can also confirm the Acer Predator series fits nicely, and has great specs. MPT3K uses that on his stream, I run the Asus and love the 1ms response time.

I used iiyama G4380UHSU-B1 and I am 100% satisfied. 4k at 120hz.

Ciao Marzio, per caso hai già provato usare il monitor in risoluzione 2k? (2560x1440)? Come si comporta? Sgranato ? Pensavo usare con un VPIN come hai fatto tu. Grazie mille.

I've read a number of reviews talking about pretty bad ghosting on it outside of when it's being used for games. They also mention the "smart" features being a bit annoying as it seems to be a tv converted into a monitor type deal. Have you had any issues like that?

This is the monitor I've been considering most, but I am planning on using it for TV quite a bit, particularly during college football season, lol.

I can tell you the LG C3 OLED is a TV not a monitor and it is 120Hz if you can run it bit if you like to see your game it's not the one for you. Even in a pitch black room it's worthless in the brightness category!! Taking mine back today!!

The C2 seems to be the one that gets recommended the most but what’s the issue with the C3?

42 C2 is largely gone from the channel. I got an open box from BB last week for $750 and was happy with that price. Anything under $800 is probably worth jumping on, as there are few left, and the 42 C3 probably won't hit sub-850 till holiday sales, Superbowl week, or next summer.

I believe the LG and Samsung are tv's, not monitors. Ive gone through dozens of the asus xg43uq and the fv43u. Basically the same, small pros and cons to both. No complaints with either, may lean to the fv43u as its super light weight. Main con is a large bottom bezel.

I have an Acer predator I will be testing in the next few weeks as well.

No problems with viewing angle on either?
