Imagine camping out for 3 days and then finding out they are out of 5090s and you’re stuck with a shitty 5080 that’s slower than the 4090 you have at home.
4090 owners should not be be upgrading. If someone seriously has FU money that they can buy the top 2k gpu every two years they wouldn't be camping. They would just it on ebay for 3-4k because they have FU money
For those of us with no Facebook, what does it say?
NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES UPDATE
We are very excited about the 50 Series launch tomorrow, stores open 9AM EST / 6AM PST. To celebrate, JayzTwoCents will be building live at our Tustin store!
Per NVIDIA’s statement, inventory is expected to be limited at launch, especially on the RTX 5090.
Store associates will communicate the number of GPUs available at their location ahead of time. Vouchers will be distributed prior to store openings on launch day.
This is pretty much only an announcement that jay is building a pc at one of their locations. Everything else was already known.
It wasn't known that microcenter would have very limited stock. They just confirmed they are a part of the overall world problem of Nvidia being an ass company.
So when are they going to tell us what stock they really have? In the morning after we've already wasted our time?
In the morning. I asked them.
So what time are they going to post product quantities by store?
I am hoping it's a couple hours before they open. Planning to wake up and see what things look like before deciding to get there early. Seems like trying to buy online from best buy/nvidia/MSI may be a better shot
Absolute waste of time. I bet a lot of people will be going home empty handed
