Replay the Spire, Downfall, Hubris are like 3 separate full DLCs in and of themselves in terms of how much they add (not a big fan of some of the stuff they add but also think some things added should’ve been in the base game).
If you want a new character to try: bug knight (a playable hollow knight character) and the forsaken are pretty fun imo as well as Downfall adds in playable bosses and the Hermit
Surprised no one’s mentioned this but The Packmaster is a very new mod where the best of the sts modding community came together and made this masterpiece of a mod. Essentially, you start with 4 “packs”, and then you choose 3 additional packs from 3 sets of 3 (similar to if you were to get 3 card rewards). “Packs” are a unique set of cards, all made by a different modder. You get a brief synopsis of each, but the synergies you can create are absurdly fun to watch unfold. It’s a genuinely great mod, the first one I’ve seen that makes me want to play a modded character to A20.
Aside from those already mentioned, I love block reminder and relic reminder. They make some stuff more prominent on screen so you don't forget them.
The only other QoL mod I use is Restart Button.
I also like Uncapped, it takes arbitrary caps on some stuff (typically at 999) and removes them. If I earned 1000 strength, let me have it!
One I basically never turn off is "a better note", which makes this event actually useful by copying the card you store and not taking it from your deck.
You get 3 choices Receive stored card and leave nothing behind
Receive stored card and store a copy of one of your cards
Destroy stored card and store a copy.
Makes it so you can actually drop strong cards there and not store a mediocre card or a strike/defend and never touch it again.
I use a better lab and quite like it. I keep meaning to check out the other mods in this series. A better note sounds equally fantastic
If you ever want something new look into the Downfall mod. It's basicially a whole new mode where you play as bosses for free from the community workshop
My buddies and I have had a blast with Spire With Friends! It does crash sometimes, especially if you are idle or tab out to a different screen. And you can't rejoin if you are kicked. But otherwise, super fun!
QoL: colored map, colored powertips, highlight path, minty spire, optimize the spire, relic stats.
