What aftermarket remote starters are compatible with the 2019-21 RAV4 hybrid?
My 2019 has a remote start built in using the key fob or Toyota app. Do not all models have this?
Nope, not all of them do. You either need to get one equipped with the upgraded audio plus system if you are getting it in XLE or XLE premium, or it will come standard with that if you get the XSE or Limited
The biggest difference I found is keyed vs push button start.
My kit just required a single wire tap for the hybrid.
I went with 12v Solutions, a US company based in Tulsa. Website isn't the fanciest but tech support is out of Tulsa also and super knowledgeable.
Very nice! I just looked them up, and yup, sure enough, their module they have for the current 2019-21 RAV4 they made for both the regular gas engine and hybrid in mind.
I may initially just start with the module that adds the functionality to the factory fob (by just pressing the lock button 3 times), as most of the time I’ll be making use of it somewhere where I’m parked close enough for my remote to reach (as I’m parked right by my office building I work at ) and then maybe later on add on the app module if I feel like it.
I used a Idatastart HC2352AC remote start kit. Works for either hybrid or gas models and the fob that comes with the kit can be used to even open the trunk. After programming the remote start your OEM fobs can also start the vehicle by pressing lock 3 times, but from a limited range obviously.

Whoever told you you can't use the same after market systems as non hybrids lied to you.
I have a viper alarm with remote start in my 20 hybrid. It works just fine. Had this same alarm in my previous 3 cars.
