Talos (Gigantis) fight bugged?
I think the Talos boss fight is. bugged. I rush him early, jump on top of him, and break all of the crystals. I heard there's an achievement for defeating him before he gets to Volcanic Island Camp, so I'm trying to do this.
When I get to the last crystal, it's immune. Even after he passes the Volcanic Island Camp, I'm hacking away at this crystal 100+ times and nothing. The other ones break in about 5 swings. What am I doing wrong? Is my game bugged from progressing?
All rods in his body got removed between the beach and the first obstacle he destroys while on land iirc, but he continues to walk for a while before he stops as there are fixed spots he will power down on. He will never reach the encampment, but will stop outside infront of the ballistas aiming towards the mountain pass.
As a side note.
On my second playthrough the rod which got immortal in his left knee became unbugged far later when a cutscene played, but certainly this is way beyond the time you get the achievement.
