- This mod can be acquired by attaining the rank of Maxim under the
Arbiters of Hexis, or the rank of Genius under
Cephalon Suda, and spending
25,000 to purchase. - This mod can periodically be acquired from The Circuit.
Notes[]
- Range is affected by Ability Range.
- Affected Defense Objects cap their damage reduction at 50%.
- Total Eclipse applies to other players, Companions, Specters, friendly AI and Mirage's
Hall of Mirrors dopplegangers
- Total Eclipse also appears to apply to ability-related specters of other Warframes when Eclipse is subsumed, including
Celestial Twin,
Metamorphosis with
Duality,
Shadows of the Dead.
- Total Eclipse also appears to apply to ability-related specters of other Warframes when Eclipse is subsumed, including
- Eclipse's bonus will add separately from other damage-bonus augments (such as
Freeze Force), though it will still affect modded elemental values when applied on weapons. - A Mirage under the effects of both her own Eclipse and an allied Total Eclipse will only benefit from her own Eclipse. The allied Total Eclipse will not stack.
Trivia[]
- A total eclipse is when an observer is in the umbra, or the darkest part, of a given eclipse, be it Lunar or Solar.
- On August 21, 2017, this mod was awarded through a special 24-hour Gift from the Lotus Excavation alert on Earth, when a Solar eclipse passed over the mainland United States the same day, the first such event in nearly a century, and the first total eclipse to cross the area in four decades. This makes the mod the first, and up until the introduction of The Circuit in Update 33.0 (2023-04-26), the only, Syndicate Augment to be awarded outside its related Syndicates.

Will it protect Eidolon Lures? It says "...friendly AI...". Should apply but who ever knows.
How much area is needed for eclipse to apply to Mirage holograms?
FYI if you want to only use this for your copies, you don't have to level the mod at all, even on a min range build they'll still be affected.
tyvm
Truly a Lifesaver.
Why is that my necramech does not seem to have eclipse buff, it's not showing on top right buffs
But guides on profit taker do mention it does shared with necramech, and you can find youtube videos which have their necramech one shot legs without volt shields?
And there is a comment down here a user states "It also gives the benefits to Necramechs"
So you saying this patch note was reverted or was never applied?
Update 29.3 (2020-10-27)
Fixed Mirage’s Total Eclipse Augment Mod buff being shared with Necramechs.
I dunno. maybe this is an old video Warframe Profit Taker Solo 1m 37s 533ms Chroma+Necramech Corvas - YouTube
I've seen this in an Eidolon Volt build, does it apply to nearby operators by any chance?
Why would you use eclipse in night time...
Moonlight counts as light for the bonus.
So was Amp amplified?
I didn't see any answer to this so I checked myself and sadly, eclipse does not affect operator in any way
Does Total Eclipse damage buff increase the damage on Protea Blaze Artillery?
No
Just wana be sure "Total Eclipse also applies to Mirage's holograms" still works ? tehre are alot of conflicting information so want to be 100% sure :)
Yes
I am confused,
because the wiki here says that the buff shouldn´t work on sprectres, yet in the gameplay video on this reddit post the buff seemed to work just fine on necros shadows
https://www.reddit.com/r/Warframe/comments/jzssg5/shadows_eclipse_op/
could someone clarify this a bit for me?
Maybe they did a stealth buff at some point.
Confused Tenno:
You are right, though I doubt it was intended, given the buff-glow some units have (usually the corrupted gunners).
Yet, for the first time my Nekros ultimate actually feels like an ultimate that deals damage befitting that of an ultimate. thanks to total eclipse
I am really having a blast here, no reliance on mediocre weapon-bound inconsistent 20 second Kit-gun infection theorem buffs, just use total eclipse
Hell, I think it even buffs Xiphos airstrike tower :D
Does total eclipse works on operator's amp?
For those wondering,it does affect Mirage's clones just tested it out.
Hold up so technically this is a better augment than Hall of Malevolence?
In light, yes.
It also gives the benefits to Necramechs, but the benefits change from Light to Dark depending on the emissive colors
>Total Eclipse only applies to other players and does not affect other types of allies such as Companions, Specters, or friendly AI. >Affected Defense Objects cap their damage reduction at 50%.
This is conflicting information. Does Total Eclipse only affect players, or does it also affect Defense Objects and the like?
Defense objects like pods and M.Defense consoles, not NPCs that move around and attack
Thanks for the clarification. I feel like that "only" note should be reworded then, since it "only [applying] to other players" is inaccurate.
Wait does this work on eldion lures? Oh damn this means if you subsume on like oberon you can take trinity and harrows job at once
The picture of this mod is outdated, range go from 0 rank 8 meter to max rank 15 meter in the order of 8, 10, 12, 15 meter. The latest mod description don't show % benefit anymore, I assume it is 100% on all rank.
Added the range stats, thanks.
Range was increased from 5 to 15 meters. With 280% Range, this thing buffs players in around 42 meters.
Does Total Eclipse augment work for her Clones? As in, the 5 meter range increases the damage the clones deal? Or it's only for Herself and other Warframes.
Total eclipse..
Make it like Everlasting Ward BOOM it's now worth a mod slot.
Sharing is caring, but the 5 meter range on this is truly Poop Prime. Skip it.
I'd like to see it have an umbra and penumbra like an actual eclipse.
Say, allies within 8 meters get the full buff effect (or maybe even a small bonus a la flash accelerant), and allies within 25 meters still receive a buff, but its strength diminishes as the distance from the center (umbra) increases.
The range would scale off of (and be balanced around) power range, of course.
This should effect companions and objectives. How is it that other abilities do it even without an argument and this is the exception?
Is the Maximization correct?
On the http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Eclipse#Maximization page, it is 746% instead of 598%. Which one is correct?
Does this affect the Eidolon Lures?
