Before Smokefinger came to Fortuna, he worked as an assistant under Sigor Savah, a Corpus researcher who studied living beings on Venus. Smokefinger was instrumental in allowing Sigor Savah to escape Venus from Corpus custody along with Specimen VK-7.

- According to a message Eudico sent to Tenno after a completion of Vox Solaris quest, Smokefinger found
Garuda's main blueprint years ago. - Smokefinger tends to speak in an eloquent well-mannered way but shows a short-temper being prone to aggressive outbursts when describing something that annoys him.
- Smokefinger shows interest in Legs as a potential protégé. Believing that as his mentor helped him find love for minerals he should do the same for someone else. Legs has no interest in the matter however finding it a waste of time.
- He sometimes visits Rude Zuud bearing gifts and tries to speak with her about her sisters. Though this only ends up irritating Zuud who would remain in denial about them.
- Smokefinger is voiced by Paul Herzberg.

Smokefinger is my man, every time I am too lazy to farm Solaris Standing, I just slide him some Thyst I got from farming Exploiter Orb to him under the table and he puts in a good word for me, couldn't ask fo a better deal.

Smokefinger has a different head in the transmission that plays when you find the node in the codex slides for his fragments. Dev oversight or also lore?
Could be both, most likely the latter. In the case of lore, Solari people's body parts are changable. See Ticker's Fortuna fragments and Legs before and after Vox Solaris (Quest).

Regarding Legs and Smokefinger, I think the interpretation this page's author has of them is way off the mark; while their relationship is certainly one sided, Smokefinger's behaviour seems more in line with idealised paternal feelings as opposed to the romantic or sexual angle the author seems to be implying.
Yea, I agree. One of his quotes mentioned that he wanted to mentor someone just as Sigor Savah has done for him.

The Trivia section on smokefinger is indeed unusual. Smokefinger's behaviour is very much the "Youth is wasting away their potential" professor type, not the "He is a creep" the original author implied. It will be ammended.
The way Ticker talks is female but after you get to the part where u see their real heads you can see ticker clearly has a male head. But in game they say she. this has confused tons of people. so ill put it like this with how the character talks and acts i am asuming the character is a trans. it very much comes off as it.

Something to add to trivia : Rude Zuud refers to him in a conversation, saying things like "Smokefinger says we have sisters. But we don't have sisters. I don't like the way Chatter goes silent when he gets nearby" (I don't have the exact text in front of my eyes, it just happened now)
Seems bugged. Daily Special Offers have been the same for 3-4 days now. He's always offering Phasmin, Noctrul and Goblite.
Man, it's been like that so long now I think it's a feature.
