Namalon is an ore that can be found in the Cambion Drift. It can be refined into Devolved Namalon.
Acquisition[]
Namalon can be acquired from two different sources:
- Mining yellow mineral veins in the Cambion Drift
- Storage containers found in the Bonus vaults found during Isolation Vault bounties
Mining Tips[]
- Mining locations change depending on the Vome/Fass cycle
- Refer to the following image for common locations:
- the yellow veins are found on vegetation
- Can also be acquired in The 'Actuary's Pride'.
- Seems to favor lower tier mining tools, such as the Nosam Cutter
- Additional research is requested to confirm

- The name Namalon might be derived from Naamah, a demon, wife of Samyaza, mother of Asmodeus, whose name means "pleasant".

Update 29.5 (2020-11-19)
- The mining drop rate of Thaumica has been doubled! We’ve also Reduced the chance of getting Namalon while Mining in the Cambion Drift so that the chance of getting Thaumica is significantly increased.
- Both Necrathene and Thaumica were similarly rare, but Thaumic Distillate is used in a wider variety of Blueprints, so expect to see it appear more often from yellow mineral deposits.

I've had decent luck farming these by exploring on the surface East and North East of The Abscess. Was using Sun Point Drill during the Fass cycle and got a good number just mining the yellow veins on the vegetation
Worst mineral ever. So many mining trips just to get a few Necramechs and weapons crafted. Got about one Namalon for every metric frickton of garbage minerals. Fix drop rate, fix vein locations, fix everything, PLEASE!
When you spawn into Deimos, Teleport to the second cave directly below Necralisk, one directly between Undulatum and The Abscess. Speed run the blue veins and take your time on the red ones. Extract and leave Deimos bcuz I found that cave sometimes don't refresh if you go back in right after extracting. I got at least 20 in 1-2 runs of this. BUT I had a resource booster and a Smeeta with me.
FYI you might not find Namalon every run, but it felt the easiest way to farm them
Co-signing this method, found Namalon immediately upon starting it. Took me no time at all to get enough

Didn't find any during Vome near the Abscess, but found some quickly near Albrechts Prospect.
Update 29.5 ruined the drop rate, but of course no one playing since before then is going to understand the complaints.
Mined in Vome area during Fass, and still got Namalon
Try down by the Deimos Terminus teleport, the cutter will make sound when you're close to the veins
Such a horrible time grinding this, not only because there were no Namalon dropping, but mostly because there are barely spots for mining and most of them are blue veins… (you need yellow veins for this one) however if you find this big cave close to the Albretch place is “nicer”.
The Location Tip did work. Enter the caves in the area and you will mine plenty of ore

Infested Seraglio caves have a lot of yellow veins (and like 2-3 teal ones), got a lot of Namalon there with Sunpoint Plasma Drill

Because It's a reward from the Iso vault
Trading this to otak was a mistake, this thing is too important
Found like maybe 3 total mining nodes in all of Albrecht's Prospect. I don't know where tf to find these things. I've gotten maybe like 3-6 in entire caves near Albrecht's Prospect.
I've done several t2 isolation vaults and have come up with zero Namalon. Mining seems to be the only way to get it.
25 min with the Sunpoints Drill and I got 0 Namalon
4 min with the Nosam Cutter and I have 30 Namalon

Should be changed to x4-x10, recently got an x10 drop while mining single-spot ores.
Just an FYI, using Nosam Cutter or Focused Nosam Cutter can help a lot since it filters out rare gem drops. Hope it helps!
Yea that helped a lot. Never seen so many namalon before. Still not even tho cause most stuff that wants this uses up a lot and you dont get much per mine.
