Three weeks ago I bought a new monitor.

The monitor supports freesync premium. Sadly, in the Radeon settings app, the freesync option is available in the individual game settings, but not in the global display settings category. The only option I got there is the VRR option.

Why is this the case?

Is this the same as freesync?

P.S. I have an RX570 GPU.
