Try going into settings on the xbox and turning off "Auto Low Latency Mode" (ALLM).

On the TCL interface

Go to Settings -> TV Inputs -> HDMI input of your choosing -> HDMI Mode -> Auto low latency mode(Off)

It worked when I did it on my Xbox. Should I do it on both?
