I have both an ultrawide and a monitor very similar to the one listed here. I would pick an ultrawide if they’re the same price (assuming it’s 1440p). The 60->100hz is truly amazing and I could never go back, but 100hz-144hz is less spectacular. It’s a little noticeable but not significant.

However the sheer amount of space you get from a ultrawide and the immersion is leagues better than the slight Hz difference.

The only reason this is a tempting monitor vs an ultrawide is the HDR400. Which is a pretty compelling reason. This monitor is also massive for 16:9 which could be a pro/con for you.

Edit: I just like to note that the HDR mode might not work with freesync/gsync turned on. I know a lot of monitors do this, so definitely check up on that. This probably isn’t the case with this monitor but worth noting in case.
