Isos is an uncommon resource that can be found in Corpus Railjack missions. It is used in upgrading the Railjack, building the Voidrig, and building the 
Basmu.

Looks like a lava lamp. I don't think those are safe to ingest. 2 ER visits out of 10.
Tested it and was inspired by a comment 2 years ago. the best Spot for today: Veil Proxima Numina. let the ships spawn and dont do the mission, kill the ships as fast as u can. thats all worked pretty good. without booster: 100 isos per 6 min(RNG based), there is an *almost* afk build out there for this mission, what funny is cause u can make so much resource for doing nothing.
Crazy farming: u have to go with harrow his 3th ability + Protea heminth (sustainability, could work without it, may use energy restore) + Seeker Volley (Battle mod for Railjack (those missiles)) go in the mission, like the Top comment. dont do the mission, wait for the ships to spawn, fast kill them and wait for the next group. got a massive 150-240 per 8 min (WITHOUT BOOSTER)

Got 350 in 20 mins on venus proxima extermination low level and quick good place to farm it

Use any nuking clearing frame. You don't get them from the extermination themselves just the actual fighter ships. I get 120 per mission run at 3 minutes per run with a booster.
Farmed Earth Proxima for a while to get what I needed and it took quite a while to get very few. When starting Venus I got 161 Isos in 3 missions compared to the 30 that I got from Earth. I recommend trying Venus Proxima rather than Earth Proxima.
DE please make a reliable source of this. Getting up to 20 per mission while I need 1000 for a elite crew member (that is from my syndicate btw.) is a joke...
Which node is the best place to get these in the new Railjack? I've only managed to get around 30
Any corpus railjack mission in the veil/pluto
Since one of the new Scarlet Spear weapons, the Sentient rifle Basmu, requires isos as a resource, I thought this page might get a bit of attention but found it severely lacking in information. A few trial runs in some Veil missions yielded next to nothing.
If it helps anyone though, try running Posit Cluster on Earth Proxima.
It took some exploring but while helping a friend to farm today I noticed isos were fairly frequent drops (not guaranteed) from orange blinking tube loot-containers, found mostly near spaceship wrecks.
If you're thorough then I think you can expect around 70-80 isos per mission without a booster. Particle Ram helps greatly for under-equipped Railjacks as it can destroy low level fighters on contact, and it clears objects within a sizable hitbox in front of the boat.
And if anyone wants to go the extra mile, perhaps confirm this information and add it to the main wiki page, or include an image of the blinking tubes that drop isos.

Can confirm that this still works the best, RNGeebus willing, as the farming spot for ISOS.
P.S. It seems that the mission names have changed. Ogal and Bendar cluster seem good though. Also, i get more Isos from destroying Gun Turrets on ships, asteroids and so on. 20 a time.
Note: it is Bendar Cluster, just Fly to those astoroids and look for thos orange little atoroids, fly into them. without booster 2 min 80 isos, u can may do it faster if u do couple of those runs
Just a heads up for console players, I am finding this in missions on Venus as of right now.
We found it on Pluto as well.
