Passive[]
Vast as deep shadow, this arcane wellspring of forbidden knowledge. Unbound by
Dante, fluttering free its radiant pages, their eyes soon agleam with boundless curiosity.
Enemies slain by
Noctua's primary fire, alt-fire, and page fragments are scanned into the Codex upon death, with each enemy death recording 1 scan entry. Enemy types with completed Codex research become permanently debuffed with Chronicler's Mark, which grants Dante's equipped weapons, including the
Noctua itself, and
Final Verse's Wordwarden Noctua copies an extra 50% Status Chance versus these foes.

Final Verse Dante must compose two other Verses before his Final Verse. TRIUMPH: Two Light Verses cast in succession invigorate allies with a buff that increases Health and grants Overguard. Kills and assists briefly regenerate Overguard. TRAGEDY: Two Dark Verses cast in succession attack enemies. Damage Over Time from Slash, Heat and Toxin Status Effects accumulates in a single blast. WORDWARDEN: A Light Verse followed by a Dark Verse supports allies with copies of Noctua. Noctua copies synchronize their attacks with their designated ally's attacks. PAGEFLIGHT: A Dark Verse followed by a Light Verse summons Paragrimms that swoop at enemies, making them vulnerable to Status Chance and Status Damage, as well as drawing enemy attacks away from allies. Introduced in Update 35.5 (2024-03-27) |

The passive status chance bonus is working as a multiplier to base status chance before mods. (Or a final status chance multiplier if you prefer thinking of it that way.) So a 35% base status chance weapon is effectively 52.5%, and will reach just over 200% status with +285% from equipment.
So this passive status chance is universal to Dante's equipments?
I'm not sure. I definitely tested the book and one other weapon, probably a primary. I'd be surprised if any standard weapons were a problem. It'd be sort of interesting to test archguns though. Or subsumable "weapon-coded" abilities with status chance, if there are any.
Extra info for the passive. You can use Dante's Noctua to farm Kavat genetic codes by just killing them. I dont think it drops them so this might not work well for farming in groups. I have the Kavats maxed out in the codex as well and one still drops. so i can also confirm it keeps scanning after the target is completed in the codex.
Most broken warframe right now i expect a nerf lol
Not broken at all just a good synergy.
A synergistic excellent kit doesn't make a warframe broken.
It's not often that we get a frame that's pretty much perfect on release. Enjoy it for the good thing that it is.
Final Verse: Tragedy; detonate slash and toxin like Expedite Suffering and uniquely heat a it does not convert it to blast like Thermal Sunder. It does not seem to affect electric and gas as those status stacks persist on enemy.
Wordwarden copies your Noctua loadout and shoots primary fire of it.
