Rode PSA1 or PSA1+

Røde PSA1 or PSA1+

So recently i bought a HyperX Solcast mic and thought it would be a better investment if I just buy the Psa1 from rode instead of a low quality mic arm. But with that haste I forgot to check the minimum weight support for the mic which is 700g and the Solocast only weighs around 270g, so i thightend the screw which sets up the tension and the weight load, but I dont wanna over thighten it, which makes the arm jump off just little bit everytime i adjust it.

About the PSA1+, It supports lighter mics (min. 97g) and read that the overall build of the whole arm is better, but in my country (hungary) it also waaay more expensive, almost double the cost of the psa1.

I worry about that i use the Psa1 this way I'll ruin its mechanism pretty fast.

So my question would be is the PSA1+ worth the extra money for the lighter weight load or should i just keep using the PSA1?

You could just strap some small weights to the mic
