applying thermal paste to ryzen 5 7600x
so in this video at 7:13-7:14, I don't see thermal paste on the bottom of the cooler nor do I see the paste on the cpu. This is my 2nd time ever building pc and i dont remember what I really did for the first time, so I'm wondering do i not have to put any thermal paste for my new build?
You do, yes. It'll function without paste but it will probably thermal throttle.

I can't tell but I'm assuming there is paste on the bottom of the cooler, otherwise this build video is pretty flawed. Yes, you do need thermal paste. It should be included with your cooler.
is the pre applied one on the cooler good enough?
also, am i blind or does there actually not seem to be any paste on that cooler?
