Console Pre-Order Question - Deluxe Edition vs Standard
Disclaimer - I have never played the game before the open beta this month.
The deluxe edition is roughly $20 USD more than the base game, but the content seems to only be a couple cosmetics. Anyone with experience with New World know the comparative worth of the pre-order items alongside other in-game, paid cosmetics?
I have searched high and low to figure out what the general consensus was on the Deluxe Edition, but haven't found anything. I understand we all have opinions on worth and if pre-ordering is good/bad, but I am mainly looking for objective answers and facts about the two different pre-ordering options.

Cosmetics are the only thing you will gain, if that doesn't appeal to you then I would get the standard edition
An upgrade regardless from the PC deluxe edition
I just went ahead and pulled the plug on the deluxe edition. It may only be a few cosmetic items. But I am happy to give the game the extra $20 for support and I’ll continue to probably drop $10 here and there for some cosmetics and to keep supporting the game
anyone know if the deluxe edition includes the season pass?
Going deluxe here kinda a collector so yeah the sad thing is all the twitch drops, and prime drops the pc players have that console players dosent or at least not yet (dont know if we will ever got thoese)

I would consider it bad. The extra 20 would be better spent on gear sets. I feel like a lot of console players are going to get caught off guard by them. They’re a massive quality of life that can cost you. I’ve personally spent more on gear sets than the base game and dlc combined.
What are gear sets? New player here and no clue what are those. Thanks in advance!

The Deluxe edition doesn't give any advantage except the cosmetics, but completionists and New World stans are still salty they released the PC Azoth edition way after release and there's no other way to get those cosmetics.
Does anyone if the Xbox game share type functionality will work for this game? I want to buy it on my Xbox but I want my friend to be able to play it on his Xbox
