Been playing for 7 years, still love it. I just ignore all the bullshit and drama and turn off global chat and I'm just cruisin 👍🏻

I don’t know any other way to play.

It’s because I’ve seen a lot stuff about the PvP, so I wanted to know if it was PvE friendly as well

As long as you have strong mental and lots of free time to sink into it, yes.

If you don’t want a life, this game is a pretty good substitute.

When I broke up with my gf I was all messed up but thanks to BDO i managed the skip the bad times with grinding. I have thousands of hours in this game but still I got 3-4 relationship recovery worth of content that I haven't touched. Truly a time sinker.

The games core issues don’t take away from the fact that it’s a very fun game. You can certainly enjoy it.

I only play PVE and solo, yes I would say this is a great time to get into the game.

Lmao your profile pic is evil

Same answer as last year, Pinky.

Yes if you want a mindless game to grind. I came back to this game last year after d4 was a flop. Scratched that itch for a good 8 to 10 months, went from a 635 gearlet to a 722 gearlet. Now I just nodewar log and keep pos up for costumes for my inevitable return. With that being said, the game as a ton to offer but once you get to about 690ish to 700 the game becomes VERY VERY GRINDY. I don't mean like a couple weeks for an upgrade, more like a month or two for 1 upgrade if you're averaging out and depending on how much time you can sink into grinding. With that being said getting to about 690 is not hard these days. They give you alot fo free shit that'll spike the dopamine and you'll be hooked until you hit that wall.

On the flip side you can be a lifeskill main and rp. I have no experience with lifeskills so ymmv.

Also pvp is fun, I love the 1v1s almost feels like a fighting game and nodewars are fun if you have a good guild with a decent shot caller. 90% of the game is capped as well, so you can enjoy the pvp early on if you're looking for that gameplay. Open world pvp still happens, atleast with my guild, we tend to look for fights and still hold true to what bdo was back in the day, duel for spot for example.

Sincerely your local 720gs gearlet

Perfect mmo for you. I've been playing for 6 years, 99.9% solo, no pvp.

100% especially if you like Solo and PVE.

whats your thoughts on running around in circles for around 5000 hours?

Quests are terrible, PvE is really enjoyable, progression at some point sucks - powercreep, inflation and making everything easier for the new player causes for players to get close to the hardcap in no time, while there is barely any new gear added(that would be challenging to obtain/upgrade). Content is heavily oriented towards solo playing and nowadays game is heavily shifting from the open world to the instanced content.

Give it a try, once you get bored you can always quit.

I'm wondering which console is best for BDO?

It is clunky on Ps5 for me. Too much on the screen
