Damage Decoy is a Warframe Augment Mod for
Loki's
Decoy ability that allows Decoy to be cast onto an enemy, turning that enemy hostile to everything and inciting former allies to attack while having their damage reflected, amplified, and additionally succumbed to 5 random status effects.

Acquisition[]
- This mod can be acquired by attaining the rank of Maxim under Arbiters of Hexis, or the rank of Exalted under Red Veil, and spending
25,000 to purchase.
Notes[]
- Has no effect if placing decoy normally, as this augment only affects the new enemy interaction.
- The enemy will pulse with holographic energy identical to normal Decoy.
- The enemy will still be hostile to the player, and can be injured or killed by players.
- As such their damage output cannot be buffed by players in any way except for attack speed increases through
Rest & Rage or speeding up enemies with
Molecular Prime.

- Because many status effects stun enemies (such as
Impact or
Heat) the damage reflected is limited and somewhat inconsistent since enemies stunned won't attack during their stun animation.
Tips[]
Mind Control (infused on Loki, or used by
Nyx with Decoy infused) can be used on Decoyed enemies, making them invincible from player attacks and allowing the enemy to teleport with the player when they get out of range. This can be used to prevent Decoyed enemies from being easily destroyed.

Do the status effects applied by the Decoy trigger Archon mod effects?
Works very well with speedva.
Needs strength to be usable in higher modes of difficulty which is fine except Loki is not typically built for strength.
Played some more with this: above 250 strength means that this ability will kill SP non-eximus enemies in 4-5 seconds with status stuff. But You have to stay away from your target because your companions will attack it and even worse, your own AoE attacks can kill it too. So it is sorta pointless unless you want to inflict status and then stay away, which is not typically what you do in Warframe levels. DE needs to make the target un-killable for 10 seconds and then these problems go away.
Just put this on one enemy and once you see those stacks hit em with a Sickening Pulse. Now enemy has every disease you ever heard of including ones never heard of. Its not room nuking capability but it is a funny interaction to watch as the enemy takes all the status effects in a huge number of stacks by just hitting their friend.
This augment is so funny. Everyone instantly gets so many status effects and dies for seemingly no reason. In mere moments, they bleed, get staggered, become weaker, set on fire, get frostbite, toxicated, shocked, get sick, blasted, irradiated, melt from corrosion, magnetized, and then produce fart that kills themselves. Your enemies dont become just sick, they speedrun their lives in a few seconds. Not the meta but this makes the trickster, Loki, better at committing funny war-crimes. For some reason the decoy will attack your sentinel so dont stand next to them.
Damage Reflected IS affected by buffs to your warframes damage, such as roar.
Don't know what else you could slap on for higher numbers, but I do know there's a point when it one-shots everything that attacks your marked target (duviri circuit showed me the potential of insta-killing thrax, so there's a route to that outcome somewhere in default gameplay.)
I tested it on steel path. Its just bad sadly.
It has 2 problems: first problem is that you often accidentally kill it with your own aoe weapons.
And the second problem is the radiation procs.
I have 2 suggestions to make it better.
My first suggestion is to make it store damage from players like mind control does and to deal all the stored damage to the decoy at the end of the duration. So it doesn't die from my AoE weapons.
Enemies should still be able to hurt it like now tho.
And my second suggestion would be to remove radiation procs.
These radiation procs turn it into a cc skill. It removes the status and reflect damage part of this skill.
Because the enemies stop attacking the decoy and instead start fighting each other.
The radiation procs are just self-sabotaging.
But i personally think it would be still a lame skill even with those 2 changes.
Like why do you need it if you can just kill everything with your weapons super fast(even on steelpath)

You sound really mad lmao. First of all we already have a lot of warframes with that type of playstyle so i don't see a reason why loki can't have that as well. Look at octavia....
And relying on it for aptitude is just bad if you compare that to some other builds.
There are so many warframe/weapon combos that are just 20 times better than this.

Who even said they want the decoy killing everything? the guy is obviously complaining that its not even a good status spreader because of radiation procs.
Where do these people come from that call warframe players lazy for a game that requires the most grinding and time investment out there? have to be devs or slurping the devs because theres no way.

Anyone tried to use it before casting well of life on an enemy?
I have this mod on now and i dont see enemies getting any status effects when the decoy is attacked, and i have 250 %strength
Are you casting decoy on an enemy and not your loki clone?
It DOES scales with strenght. Tried with Transient, Umbral I and Power drift for 750% sc. Is just ridiculously strong.
Op here, I was wrong about the SC, it does not sclae with strength (5 status "only"), but it does with the damage redirected.
Would actually have been hilarious if the number of statuses scaled with strength too.
