Cyte-09 gains Practiced Aim when he kills an enemy by damaging their Weak Points, increasing his Critical Chance against weak points by 1% up to a maximum of 300%, lasting for the entirety of a mission.
- Additional critical chance from Cyte-09's passive can raise the Critical Tier of his equipped weapon.

His 3 cooldown starts instantly similar to gyre's Cathode Grace
Weird, in my game the Chassis is 65-70 (no 55-60), Neuros 75-80, and systems 85-90.
Ok so this frame instantly reloads his and any ally's guns with his resupply ammo bags...this frame is now meta for arbitration farming and potentially speeding it up even more
Strong doubt, if you swap him out for volt / chroma you lose the damage buff, if you swap him out for wisp you leave yourself wide open in higher levels plus no roar buff and you're not gonna replace Mirage or Saryn as DPS - so basically, no :P

Anyone know if Evade work with Collective Curse ? If it does extend the duration then Kullervo might become even stronger. Since he now gets perma invisibility and stealth bonuses for his melee
Duration is capped at 25 seconds when subsumed.
Just fyi on the duration capped, you can still add more duration from getting headshot kills that feature isn't gone. So it's still effectively infinite time.
So been messing a bit with him... Seek is neat and very nice for the 1999 maps. Resupply can make him valuable for profittaker or even eidolons. Evade? Not rly sure about that one. While he is very easy to keep perma stealth, I'd actually subsume Nova on him and Augment it to be more tanky.. Neutralize... yeah... with the new mods this turns MASSIVE holes into anything. could be a new meta bosskiller if build properly for weakspots
Evade seems strong for Cascade (or Disruption.... or lvl cap survival for you crazy people), haven't had a chance to play yet, but his 4 seems like a subsume slot, prob for nourish on a platform build. If his 4 can 1tap thrax at cap without too much effort then I will take back that statement, but a high fire rate gun, with the rad mod mag mod nourish and his 2 with another elemental combo is prob gonna put in mad work over his 4 (I am prob gonna try throwing scourge then hotswapping to 4 for a cascade run at some point tho.)
His 4th is probably the one of the best weapons in the game. Incredible damage and multichain on headshot kills. His kit is perfect and synergizes with everything he has, no need to subsume anything
I'd prefer to use Dual tox rather than his 4 for run and gun tbh, so much easier to keep up his invis with it and with punch thru its just amazing. I change his 4 for condemn just in case I lose invis, for more survivability and easier weak point kill. It is for run and gun build, for boss build I might keep his 4.
The exalted rifle needs double the ROF it has now, pretty good otherwise.

A 60 second cool down for evade is just bad, any cool down for any ability makes it not worth using. Especially when there are better options.

Shade's invis breaks, which isn't what you want with a weapons platform frame. Don't have him myself, but I'm assuming his 4 is exempt, since it's an ability?

So if ya have enough duation, u can make it last as long as the cooldown is or even more
And it is entirealy possible to be perma stealthed as long as ya keep hitting weak points which is very easy with him
With a little recolor you can turn him into an Helghast
60 second cool down for evade is just horrible.
Why? You can cast it once and keep it going for the entire mission without ever having to recast it.
Reminder in the devstream while showcasing nyx I believe a new mod that disables multi shot and increases weak point damage was dropped from a scaldra enemy and it’s a rifle mod too

Yeah the ability is inbuilt and significantly faster to use than lavos' version.
Add in the invisibility so you can focus on profit taker and you're golden.
Imagine if the Crit Chance is flat and applies before mods. Probs not gonna happen, but one can dream.

I cant believe they give away his invis to everybody, but to perma invis you gotta get those head shot so at least you gotta put effort into it to make it useable. Kullervo almost turn into a God.
Yeah usefulness is going to be heavily skill based. Cyte-09 gets the best use of it since he can highlight weakpoints to easily keep it up against weird foes like infested.

Cooldown should be long for the Helminth version, with a 10s cooldown at most for Cyte-09 himself. Not really a fan of them giving newer frames cooldowns.
Banshee's sonar is probs not going to count, as weak point is coded as body part modifiers like headshots, just counted towards any part with a >1 mult, which is what incarnons now check for, whereas Banshee's ability makes a coded check to see if the body part struck matches the generated "weak point" from her ability, which is why it can, if overlapping, stack multiplicatively with a body part multiplier like a head shot, the most commonly thought of and only specified weak point.
I have a feeling that Kunai incarnon is going to see a lot more usage after people subsume this ability.
Finally we know the passive: Weakshot kills give a permanent increasing bonus to crit.

I think they made the right decision. Makes the passive more universally applicable since snipers aren't exactly a popular weapon type outside of some specific instances.

I'm really curious about the passive. They've been doing more meaningful passives with recent frames that define builds more. I can't believe it'll just be something like increased mag size on snipers. He already has punchthrough, instant reloading, free elements, sniper damage, invis, healing, an exalted, ricocheting bullets and instant freezing. Maybe it has something to do with the sniper combo mechanic, maybe building up faster/depleting slower.
Maybe something that reduces enemy alert level? Like if you've already been detected, if you get a stealth kill and the corpse disappears before enemies find it, you get 20% progress towards the global alert level returning to 0.
I dont think he will completely powercreep Ivara. She has a niche in farming loot which will always be pretty relevant.
Plus Ivara remains queen of skillshot shenanigans with navigator.
The name "Cyte-09" implies he is the 9th Proto-Warframe to be made.
But we only know of 6 Proto-Warframes : Excalibur, Mag, Volt, Trinity, Nyx and Cyte-09.
This means there could be 3 Proto-Warframes that haven't been revealed yet.

He appears unfinished like Xaku but not damaged like Xaku. Maybe he does what Xaku can't but retains the ability to cycle through more traditional combative methods for urban and jungle environments. I wonder what his shields are like because he might just change the way shields work in warframe.

Heres to hoping for a gas only frame.
I never understood why so many frames have only 1 damage type on their abilities...like why use ability 3 when 1 and 4 do exactly the same damage?
Why not expand a bit why not have 1 do Gas + Puncture like a gas grenade, 2 do Gas + Impact like a shockwave, 3 do Gas + Fire like some chemical flamethrower and 4 do Gas + Radiation like some atomic checmical bomb.
Why would you want just Gas on it all....and why do so many frames just have 1 element....
Maybe on a different frame, Cyte-09 might be a Physical/Blast damage type frame due ammo and guns and grenades.

"why use your 1 if they all do the same damage" becuase most abilities don't do the same damage for one, and most warframes usually have something else with them. Take Quorvex, his one does radiation damage and so does his 4, but his 1 is an AOE and his 4 is a big chest blast. They have different use cases.
