Champion's Blessing is a Warframe Augment Mod for Trinity's
Blessing that increases their own primary and secondary Critical Chance based on the total percentage health healed, up to a +350% bonus.
Stats[]
Rank | Duration | Max Critical Chance Bonus | Cost |
---|---|---|---|
0 | ?s | +350% | 6 |
1 | ?s | +350% | 7 |
2 | ?s | +350% | 8 |
3 | 20s | +350% | 9 |
Acquisition[]
- Can be acquired by attaining the rank of Partner under The Perrin Sequence, or the rank of Flawless under New Loka, and spending
25,000 to purchase.
Notes[]
- Champion's Blessing's effects only apply to the ability caster.
- Only restored Health counts towards the bonus, restoring Shields has no effect.
- Casting multiple Blessings will reset the buff timer.
- Critical chance from multiple blessings will be added together up to the 350% maximum.
- Critical chance bonus is additive with other sources of critical chance bonus.
- Health restored to any ally such as allied Warframes, Specters, and Companions will grant critical bonus.
- Health restored to the caster also counts towards the bonus.
Combat Discipline can be used to deliberately inflict self-damage.
- The duration of Champion's Blessing is affected by Ability Duration.
- Champion's Blessing has a longer duration than
Blessing itself. This difference becomes more significant as Ability Duration is increased.
- If the duration of
Blessing expires, Champion's Blessing will continue to function until its own duration expires.
- Anything that forcibly strips
Blessing, such as Stalker's Dispel, or a Nullifier Crewman's shield will remove Champion's Blessing as well.
- If the duration of

THEY SHOULD BRING BACK SELF DAMAGE! CHROMA HAS BEEN REWORKED ALREADY
Base duration is going to more than double. Going from 12 to 30 seconds
Really disappointing if that's the only change.
THEY SHOULD BRING BACK SELF DAMAGE! CHROMA HAS BEEN REWORKED ALREADY
Doing a personal deep-dive theorycraft for builds for Trin since her rework is soon, and I still don't know about this one. On one hand, the strat where you self-damage your health with Combat Discipline is pretty strong with crit-based and hybrid weapons, but then that combo starts carrying your whole gameplay at higher levels rather than a fun interaction to use since you'd be spamming out Blessing to keep yourself and any mates healthy (although this is more of a Trinity problem until her rework).
On the other, you're likely to be stacking range, strength and duration which is a lot of mod slots and runs counter to how you want to use current Energy Well and Life Well with negative duration (this'll be addressed in her rework anyways, though), and no negative duration and a lack of mod slots means no Vampire Leech, which is her strongest team-wide survivability option outside of high efficiency/power Blessing spam.
The only thing really working in your favour here is the fact that it stacks on itself rather than single-heal instances, and the duration is pretty forgiving at base with the crit being additive to all sources (meaning final crit chance multipliers like Tenacious Bond become insanely strong).
Combat Discipline sucks for building Champion's Blessing. The reason being, Blessing and Link's damage reduction seems to apply to Combat Discipline. So you end up taking just 0.625 HP damage per kill. It takes absolutely forever to build up Champion's Blessing this way. Complete waste of time.
Champion's Blessing is really just a nightmare to build up and I hope they make major changes to it. The best way to charge it is to just get lucky with pets, defense operative, or newbie allies taking damage. And then don't you dare ever let it expire. Best to treat Champion's Blessing as a nice bonus if it kicks in, and not just expect to have it.
It's also a shame that Champion's Blessing doesn't apply to melee, as it then lacks synergy with the Abating Link augment. Champion's Blessing gives you crit for guns only, while Abating Link encourages a melee playstyle.
Vampire Leech sucks. The generated shields are small and it's completely unnecessary. Trinity is best as a health tank. And even for shields, Blessing is already better than Vampire Leech anyway. Blessing gives you DR and instantly resets all your health and shields to full.
No normal player needs negative duration for Trinity. That hasn't been a thing in many, many years. If you're messing around with some obscure, niche, EV damage build then sure, but most players shouldn't be using Trinity that way and it's completely counter to the rest of her kit. At the moment, she wants duration, duration, duration. Duration Archon Shards. All the duration. And just a little bit of strength and range.
Funny enough, after a bit of analyzing her defenses, she's a better shield tanker than a health tanker. Her base armor is so low that you have to make some dedicated investment to make her health more valuable than her shields. Primed redirection plus her main sources of DR make her shield really hard to break even on steel path.
All you need is Arcane Guardian to cover the armor. She's best as a health tank.
Keep the augment at rank 2 so it matches exactly the duration of Blessing, having it last a bit more than blessing just makes it harder to track
It stacks even after blessing, don't see a reason to do this
Bleeding key
Champion Blessing, Nekros teammate, and Cascadia overcharge arcane on secondary kinda get scary. maybe time to build an 400+ crit chance twin graka
Around 6 years ago. I knew whatever augment they made for Blessing would suck. You pretty much have to be playing Trinity wrong for this mod to be worth a slot and who doesn't have self sustain.
It's good when it works. But yes, it can be a nightmare charging it up. I think the operative in operative defense counts, so can be charged up when he takes damage. Squishy pets used to be a decent way to charge it, but less so now after the pet updates. It's also a huge shame that it doesn't work for melee... I think it's still worth the slot, but it's basically just luck whether it'll kick in or not.
Am I blind, or is there no buff icon on the wiki? Like what we'd see in the HUD, I don't think I've ever tried looking for those on here
We have an incomplete list here: https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Buff_%26_Debuff#Icons. Main issue is that these assets are not readily available or provided by the devs so we have to rely on those who know how to extract assets.
This should absolutely apply to teammates, plese DE buff this thing so trinity can be useful once again
Blessing should be 90%, but DE cant bother to update old forgotten frames. 75% cap is laughable
Yeah like adding 34% ability strength is so difficult... (cap is at 100% health restored when writing this)
He's talking about the damage reduction dude, obviously, which is 75%.
Isnt she good when it comes to shield gating since she refills shields with her 4 or am i missunderstanding something here ?
everyone has gloom is building for shield gates and wisp is one of the most popular frames that heals! throw a trinity in your party and everyone is at 100% health all of the time and this augment does nothing!
It should have take the max 350% crit then reduced that based on allies healed instead.
I know it's a bit late to add a comment here- but...
"Health recovered from any allied source such as allied Warframes, Specters and Companions will grant critical bonus."
Now, I'm no wizard or anything- but couldn't you just... place a Specter in some corner of the map outside of the Wisp's range for that? I dunno, like a Roller Specter or something?
Maybe not, I think the biggest issue with this is that Wisp's motes are automatic and provide stupid good healing... and Gloom is just outright broken, in every capacity.
Of course Healers are gonna get shafted when you can put anything on "The Chair" and get a radial lifesteal to make the entire army sent after you slower than a Matrix scene.
I still say to this day that Gloom is a terribly overpowered ability that needs a Nerf. Helminth-specific nerf if all else.
Nekros' Shadows of the dead also count. They constantly lose % health every second, much faster than Wisp can heal.
A Nekros + Trinity combo is very scary, both can keep each other permanently stacked.
Yeah, that works pretty well. I've done it as well.
It's more that every aspect where Champion's Blessing WOULD be nice is usually overwritten by ANY other healing source.
Namely notorious ones like Gloom where people out it on every Warframe, despite not even needing it on most.
Ya. it also dosnt help that your own built in stuff like link locks the ONLY mod that could give this mode life a massive hit since it drops the drain 1 hp a tick and its so easy to just...accidently sneaze and get healed.
yo dawg, i heard you like harrow
so i put an augment in your trinity
Critical chance bonus is additive with other sources of critical chance bonus.
When I saw that I thought I can red crit with every gun if I max stack this augment...
I was wrong. Then again... Thinking a Mod can just give you 350% crit chance is kinda naïve on my part.
Ooouh poor naive tenno, its only 350% additive, its not even crit just cri. how chould we reach that red zone huh..
Does self healing give crit chance?
Yes
The buff is actually great when running combat discipline. the heals from the aura increase the crit rate so you only have to cast blessing to maintain the buff timer.
Run 45-50% strength and 230+% duration.
Range doesnt matter
I recommend adaptation for any higher level stuff.
My SP Trinity doesn't run Adaptation. Abuse of shield-gating means that she's immortal anyway. Mod slot can safely be given to something else.
After a week of testing, I’d say this mod is not worth using. Nowadays everyone has Grace or the operator arcanes, my teammates are always at full health.
And no, “just use helminth setup 4head” is not something I wanna use
Use a pet or specter it's how I rank it up super easily. Especially the diversified denial precept for hounds. Those three little specters make it insanely easy to stack.
Get some friends dude, I just ask them to take some damage for me.
Nekros' shadows of the dead (who are always losing % HP per second) count.
Can I use this and remove my Crit Chance mods?
Or should I still aim to go over 100% anyways?
What are the hidden gems weapons for this augment?
Depends on the weapon. Primary weapons will probably really want to hit 100% for hunter munitions. But I'd say that on most weapons, a 200% mod might not be worth the slot anymore if you have a 350% buff.
If it's true what skeptics say that the buff only affects Trinity's guns, then it might be worth mentioning because I'm prob not the only one to assume this is a harrow-like squad crit buff.
It does not display the buff in the party member list, so I doubt that they are getting the buff
It only affects the caster of blessing.
How to Use this Augment:
Subsume Nyx's "Mind Control"
Hit an Enemy until it's 1 hit away from Death
Cast "Mind Control"
Cast "Blessing", check Buff
If not Maxed de-Mind Control the Target and do it again
Repeat Until Maxed
So you waste a subsume slot to increase your damage a bit
When you could've just subsumed Roar or Eclipse
It's much easier to max the buff. Just be part of a squad, deploy a medium-weak specter if you need it quicker. Spam it,
Doing this you can cap the Augment in a couple of secs
You can subsume other stuff if you dont want to cap it asap
Something that could maybe be added, using the nyx subsume to turn an enemy into an ally after damaging it can be used to proc this skill solo.

"Critical chance bonus is multiplicative with other sources of critical chance bonus." seems to be wrong, it stacks with them, making it better to remove crit replace mods of the weapon with other mods such as crit damage.
How i tested: i added primed pistol gambit(+187%) to a lato(10% CC), if it multiplied it would boost it to 129% crit chance{10x(1+1,87)x(1+3,5) = 129}, ending up with 71% yellow crits and 29% orange
But if it were to stack: {10x(1+1,87+3,5) = 53,7}, making only about half the hits crit yellow, the other half not criting at all, and that is the result i got, almost half the hits were not critical.
Updated, thanks.
