Do I need to add soy lecithin to an MCT Oil Infusion
I want to make a 7tbsp MCT oil infusion with 14g of flower. How much soy lecithin should I add if any? I plan to take it straight or add to tea. Supposedly MCT preforms better and is easier to use than coconut oil.

Q&A
I’ve been following the suggestions of u/BrassNwood and have been doing a 20% lecithin to oil ratio lately been doing 50%. So you don’t mess up your dosage I would do 5 1/2 tablespoons mct oil and 1 1/2 tablespoons of lecithin that would be 20% you can even step it up further with the lecithin and do 3 1/2 tablespoons of mct oil to 3 1/2 tablespoons to lecithin.
100%?
1.5 to 5.5 is a 27% ratio, and 3.5 to 3.5 is a 100% ratio. You don’t compare one part to the total when you’re calculating a ratio, you compare one part to the other part. This is not just me being pedantic, its a significant misunderstanding of BrassNWood’s instructions on your part (or just miscommunication all around, but it makes a difference)

My lecithin teacher. Most of her recipes are in the 20% range but she goes as high as 50%.
1 gram active THC Concentrate
2 grams Coconut / MCT oil
2 grams Liquid lecithin.
Heat 220 F for 20 minutes
Unstrained Bud based oil
decarb 240 F for 40 minutes
5 grams bud dust
1 tablespoon Coconut oil
1/2 teaspoon liquid lecithin
Heat 220 F for 20 minutes
Fills 30 #0 capsules.
Strained use 3x the oil and lecithin.
Fuck, I just bought lecithin granules (Whole Foods brand), will it work?
Do you decarb your concentrate or are you using distillate?
Personally i don’t add lecithin to my 30:0 oil. I take my dose with food instead.
